That's cool thanks for watching. I've been playing them for a few months now and quite enjoy them. They'll be making appearances in future battle reports here.
Awesome thanks! Yes the Battle of Ortona in Italy Dec 1943. A few scenarios featured during that battle will likely be filmed and posted once I get these guys finished.
As much as I like that Warlord has the arms and weapons together, I do wish they'd give you some extra weapons. You can always use an extra Bren or Enfield to spice up a base. Looking forward to this series of battles once your Stalingrad campaign, which has been absolutely stellar, is over.
Yeah on the one side it's convenient for the reasons I stated, less fiddly, but also in the case of having 60 guys to work on that lack of customization will become more a case for kitbashing later. The Soviet kit really did have loads of options and I still have a whole bag of extra weapons, arms etc.. Lol. Thanks for the support. We're probably going to insert different theatres and battle reports while we continue on with the Stalingrad Campaign!
The Late War Canadians are looking good. Well done! What kinds of supports are you going to make for them? I assume one other-rank Bren gunner and one loader per section, one PIAT gunner and one PIAT loader other-rank per platoon, one 2" mortar two-man team per platoon and approximately one 30 Cal. MMG/HMG per platoon. What supporting vehicles are you planning to make? Sherman, Sherman Firefly (NWE only?), Churchill (not Canadian but the Canadians in Italy were often supported by Chirchills of the Irish Horse). Defrocked Priests, Ram Kangaroos, Lynxes, Daimler armoured cars, Universal and Windsor Carriers, 15CWT armoured trucks, M3/M9 halftracks? Guns? 6 pdrs, 17 pdrs. 25 pdrs? Mrdium and heavy Mortars? You might enjoy making some troops from the scouting carrier troop in each batallions of infantry or a recce regiment. One section had one officer/NCO and one additional jr. NCO plus five other-ranks armed with three Bren Guns, one PIAT, one 2" mortar, two SMGs, five rifles, lots of smoke grenades and three universal carriers. These carriers were often fitted with additional machine guns. These sections tended to work with a trio of two Lynx/Dingo/Humber scout cars and one Dailmer armoured car if they were part of a recce regiment. Anyway, good luck to you and your Canucks on the tiny battlefields of table-top gaming! Tally-Ho!
Thanks! All options are in the table this is why I'm starting with two boxes in order to have that flexibility. As far as vehicles go I have three Sherman's, a Sexton, two carriers, two halftracks to start with and go from there.
Thanks much appreciated! Not sure if I understand. I'm only doing Canadians for the time being but if I were to paint up British infantry I would go more for the tan khaki characteristic of their uniforms at the time. Is that what you mean?
Always nice to see the Canadians in wargaming. My grandfather fought in Italy in WW2 with the 3rd Infantry Brigade; the Carleton and York Regiment.
I'm looking forward to completing them and am eager to see them in action.
@@overthetopgaming8498 Indeed!
Canadians in Normandy is one of my future projects. Thanks for sharing.

The Canadians were my first 28mm WW2 army after reading a book on Ortuna (sp?). Much respect for a fine army. Looking forward to your battle reports.

Nice project. Look forward to seeing it progress. I went with the Canadians in Sicily, check out the project on my channel.
Thanks I'll have to check them out!
Looking great as I just started bolt action are you using the same colours for the British squad 👍👍

Kiwis?
These are being painted up as Canadians but you could easily paint up as kiwis
