Cris collinsworth on Ad Mitchell “AD has everything that Brian Thomas has and more, and he’s a better route runner. He is clever in how he changes speeds in his routes. Combine that with 4.3 speed it’s unfair. Mitchell’s upside is higher than any receiver in the draft”
@Dilly_Dilly_Dale not major, just character. Makor.character concerns are a guy beats women. He has mood swings related to diabetes which diet monitoring by an nfl team can fix
For some unknown reason, the posting excluded my highlighted text indicating that Coleman was ranked only the 22nd best WR after the NFL Combine, while McConkey was ranked the 10th best WR after the NFL Combine.
In a perfect world, especially without the Bills having an elite #1 receiver following the Diggs trade, I wanted Brandon Beane to go up and get Rome Odunze. However, I fully understand that the price in draft capital would have been too steep to get there, and don't disagree with BB's decision (we would have had to get to #8, because clearly Chicago wanted to pick Odunze to pair with Caleb Williams). Here is what I would LOVE to see happen on Day 2 -- and IF Brandon Beane could pull it off, he would not only salvage the need to dramatically improve our WR room, but he would be a veritable rock star: 1. HOPEFULLY Washington covets a particular player at the top if the Round 2 draft order and desperately wants to move up and make a trade with us for the top pick of Round 2; I would trade Washington pick #33 overall in exchange for BOTH of their second round picks -- #36 and #40 in this year's draft. 2. With pick # 36, Beane should take the "best" need/value player for the Bills from the following list (depending on who is still available at #36): a) WR Adoni Mitchell b) CB/S Cooper DeJean c) WR Ladd McConkey d) DL Johnny Newton e) CB Kool-Aid McKinstry f) C Jackson Powers-Johnson 3. Immediately after finally picking a player at #36, now that Beane has "more draft pick ammo," he swings the following trade with the Minnesota Vikings (who have already made TWO 1st round draft picks in this 2024 Draft, and presently have NO draft pick in the 2nd round this year OR next year): a) the Bills send Minnesota: (1) The 8th pick in Round 2 of this year's draft (#40 overall) -- this not only gets Minnesota back into the second round this year, but even moreso gets them into a HIGH "Top 10" pick of Rd 2 (in fact, this move will result in Minnesota having a whopping 3 picks within the Top 40 players of the entire draft); (2) Buffalo's own 2nd round pick in this year's draft (#60 overall) -- thereby garnering Minnesota an incredible 4 picks within the "Top 60" players in the Draft; (3) Buffalo returns to Minnesota the Vikings' own 2nd round pick in next year's 2025 Draft (which we got from Houston in the Diggs trade AND which "should" be a fairly HIGH pick UNLESS Minnesota gets crazy good this year because of drafting TWO 1st round and TWO 2nd round picks in the 2024 Draft); and (4) Buffalo gives Minnesota one of our 5th Rd picks in this Year's draft (we now have 4 of them) b) Minnesota sends Justin Jefferson to the Bills
No, the other teams calling the Bills before tonight's draft are on the clock. I have another take....Beane has all of these draft picks, if these teams call for a pick, if these teams have a premiere wr, and they want most of Bills draft spots right now, could be a possible blockbuster trade behind the scenes. We will never know, but it is a great strategy!
It also deleted my prefatory comment that Brandon Beane can stillsalvage the Bills' DOUBLE needs at WR in this year's draft (i.e., b y swinging the trade with Minnesota to bring Justin Jefferson to Buffalo).
I am so tired of hearing about AD Mitchell. We just got rid of a reciever with character issues, I dont think Beane will be too quick to add another lol
Trade back! We don’t need no stinking players! Only the rest of the league values First round picks. Other teams: We Got our guy! Beane: we got our value! Beane will be fired next year.

Why we have Shakir??

AD Mitchell. I know he's not guaranteed, but not many 2nd rounders are, and this dude has huge upside.
AD Mitchell!!!!!!

Draft Mitchell right off the rip! Trade second number 2 of 2 for a guy already on a roster ! Throw in a 4 , we have a few of those
I have a feeling they will trade back againg and get the value of the first pick in round 2 and double dip at WR in round 2
Ja'Lynn Polk reminds me of Amon Ra St Brown which is a really good thing! Routes, hands, tough and YAC.
Can we get Adonai Mitchell he has speed size athleticism and big game experience
