YES! Now using Geotags and going to try different ones as you suggested depending on where I am. Great tip! I am in North Bay, Ontario Canada but also in surrounding Northern Ontario locations as well as Toronto/Ottawa at times. This is very helpful.

Most of the time I geotag my own town on Long Island and surrounding ones not too far from me, where I would like to gain followers/clients from. Right now I am designing each of the 50 states on a t-shirt. When I post them on my Instagram. I Geotag the state. And then tag some of the locations Chambers. I have some new followers. It is also great to meet some new friends of places I would like to visit. It has been a great challenge to me, plus at my pace than a regular challenge. Before I even design the shirt I love researching about the state. (* bit of trivia*) The Wright brothers never few together(promise to their father in case of an accident) except for one flight and it was also the father's first and last flight. N.C.

Thank you for these insights. It's helped me step back from automatically geotagging the @californiaflowermall account location and look to the surrounding communities/zip codes where prospective customers are searching for our flower market location on the CFM Google listing.I will be using Downtown LA, East LA, Echo Park and others I discover.

It doesn't work, when you search a location you don t see no story in that location.

I'm not finding the exact "how to" add geolocations. Or geotags. I'm assuming it's just adding your location in your post. But in stories?
Yes! A geotag in Stories will help you reach people in that location as well. When you go to use stickers in your Stories, just tap the one called Location to add a geotag. I do have videos explaining Stories features on this channel as well if you need a visual step by step.

As an artist who sells more outside my local area than within it (and who does not have a brick & mortar space to pull people to), I had not used this, but I can see how this could expand my exposure! Are you using them based on where you are? Or do you always use the same exact location? Those are possible reasons you may not be getting much reach from this.
