The brick wall totally works, particularly with those antique wood panels. The furniture, the shelves, and the accessories are terrific. He delivered on all three of his points. Well done, and so very inviting.
Love the neutral colour palette and textures - the antique doors are Devine! As a minimalist I would have edited a few objects from the bookcase - designer had me smiling - great!
I love everything! My style is very similar throughout my home, l just didnt know how to describe the style. I just know what l like And now l'm seeing everywhere..
Hi Lisa! This house was smaller, so that’s why there were fewer designers. We like to give each designer a single space (or connected space) to play with. Thanks for watching!
I didn't like that brick wall.... The room looks average. He could have switched those average bricks with geometric tires cutt in odd shapes, or use English wall papers . Rest are divine tough. 😊
that bookcase "styling" is horrid-looks like a store. the brick wall and those doors on it r both stunning-but it wasnt even his idea, same as the perfect coffee table. (little round table should be taken out) But for crying out-what the hell is builder doing by making design decisions, i wouldnt tolerate it.
I am cracking up at the political correctness of “owner’s suite.” Not much better that “master” seeing as they were literally called slave “owners”, lol. Don’t mishear me, I ain’t even remotely offended by “owner suite”... or “master suite”, for that mattter.
Give this man his own design show stat!!!
Nice! I worked with Mikel Welch on a weekend showroom project in Boston and I learned a lot about design elements. Love This.

For a one-day design, this space turned out so lovely. The brick wall is a really nice touch!
"I had to clutch my little pearls" 😂😂😂
I adore his personality!!!! The room screams RELAX! I love it! Basic bitch wood 😂😂😂
Its really good to take risks as a designer, the brick wall looks amazing
Lots of ideas for my den here, so much love for this design
The design looks great as well 👍🏾

So Beautiful!!!!! I cant wait to see the other rooms!!! Great Job Mikel:)

Stunningly beautiful! Great job! 🎉🥳🥂👍🏿 I'm dreaming right now, that this is a space in my home.😍🙏🏾
My favorite in this house. Love the neutrals

Absolutely gorgeous!!!
‘You not my mama you can’t tell me what to do’ 😂😂😂 dude funny
Stunning. Enough said.
Loved this room!!!
Mikel is fun to watch but his room has no character! It's still BLANKISH!
Just gorgeous!!! Wow
Great job 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻. Love it!❤️

You are definitely a superstar you are definitely a superstar stunning
This was by far the most hilarious episode..."Me, Jesus, and a contractor, and we'll get through it!"
Love!
i've never heard of an owner's den either. it is like the master's den? i know they were changing from master's to owner's in texas
what's up with this guy wanting to brick every room?? LOL
Not a fan of the random one wall brick! Would have rather seen a treatment on the whole room like plaster… Very Mikel design…
The builder should stay in his lane. Brick wall, Really? Groundbreaking!!
Brick holds heat. But its cute.
It would've been better had he used wallpaper.
I am curious about the decision to have fewer designers in this home than the last?

The room really needed some color. All that white and ivory just shadowed the room. It was soo colorless and a little plain. It was ok.
Hate hate the brick wall. It's totally horrific but Everything else is nice.
Is he from New York??? lol
Jeez this is one long ass video. Can we just see the room already. So after that wait it looks ok. I’m getting living room vibes.
Brick wall no no no no no
10:12 No sabìa que #kalimba era decorador de interiores
Lol
Too much camera time on YOU and about YOU instead of the house!
Nice room but where's the color? Gimme a break, HB - watch your vids before you give them titles.

Like, why tires? That sounds awful. Cut up rubber tires?

It's ok to evolve 🙄
@@josephinebournes8212 I don’t disagree, I just think the new phrase isn’t any better.
@@torysetliff the better term most are using is the primary space.
@@ProPlan23 I haven’t heard that yet. I definitely prefer that!
