Love Brother Roloff and and for what all he stood for , miss that great days of his preaching , and all those singing those wonderful songs, we need this again in 2023 , so much evil going on in this Country , praying for Revival!
Thats my old pastor Dr Wiley Cameron. I went to church there for 3 yrs until the church split back in the 90s . Dr Cameron is home now . Lord Bless him and that great work and wonderful MUSIC we got to hear there.
Brings back memories - I don't recognize any of the girls though. I was there for 3 years 1975-1977. Granny and Papa were not abusive. At that time Bro Cameron was in charge of the Rebekah Christian School. He was so nice. Didn't know Mrs. Cameron well, didn't have alot of contact with her. Bro Roloff was such a nice man.
Beautiful , Listening to this brings tears to my eyes , wish that Brother Roloff was still here , but God had better Plan , for those that closed these homes SHAME ON YOU ! We are Reaping what was SOWED in AMERICA , so sad !
Still love hearing these girls sing since the 1970s. Never tired of hearing the Redeemed of The Lord say so. There was something supernatural about the ministry Lester Roloff channelled to these young people.
you got it backwards -- these girls were abused long before Lester Roloff helped them. And the 'supernatural' part was from the Lord Jesus Christ - He NEVER abuses anyone, hello ???
That is the reason she was never allowed to be around children again. Kneeling for hours on tile for things that most of us never did yet were were punished if that is what you want to call it. Lets be real if we are going to make comments you have zero idea about.

The same church is not the same as it was. I lived there for three months in 1982 and spent a few weeks on the intercoastal canal about half-way between Corpus and Brownsville during the winter. More rattlesnakes per square mile than anywhere I've ever been. After my time there I gave up ciggarettes and everything else too. I remember one guy there would let me have a cup of Cafix, which I still love till this day(or else another brand of the same thing). The time I was there, I had never heard of Lester before I arrived there, and he had died about a month before I arrived. I can remember Mrs. Boeman in the bakery, working in the dairy before daylight in the morning, and Bro Wiley speaking of waking on the porch in Colorado and his feet were out of the covers. I can remember after I had been there awhile, feeling in really good health and sleeping good. It is so nice to think of a place, community with no cola, coffee, sweets, and cigarettes in the whole place. I can also remember during my time in the boat going between the canal and the main farm in Corpus seeing in front of my view on the canal, more ducks in view than any other time in my life. And also pelicans and many other wildlife.
@@noahway13 I am a fan of Lester Roloff and I am not fighting God's will. What the church supported after we left is unknown to me. Dad was a missionary church planter and he would start a church and turn it over to a Pastor and move on to a new area to start a church

I am not aware . Please list them . I was personal friends with several who attended and they went with me to attend services . Now if they were abused why would they voluntarily attend services when living nearly an hour away? Why would they voluntarily sing in front of the congregation?
I'm on first row in white top at the end right before that black girl.. I guess it was a home for troubled girls but I was innocent knowing in what they did prior to coming there to Rebekah.. my family sent me there in hopes for a better education. You don’t have any kind of PTSD from the punishments? To me it sounds just as bad if not worse than a war vet dealing with bullets all around them.
Enjoy good singing
Not many 'lookers' back in the day.
It’s because they’re IFB’s! IFB girls and women are usually homely.

Why not bring this into Hillsong?
