They were so star struck!! Keifer was the onlyb1 to hold it together to keep singing😄 they were so surprised & shes a fan of theirs!❤❤❤
they competed each other in a singing competition in the philippines called "Tawag Ng Tanghalan" thats whats TNT stand for. They didnt get the title but theyre in the finals. After the competition, theyre having TV guesting, one of those tv programs is GGV, where the host ask them to sing "Listen" by Beyonce together with a twist, its like theyre fighting but singing. It goes viral, then thats the time theyre called TNT BOYS. They became famous right after and traveled worldwide as guest of some tv entertainment program like Little Big Shots. They also competed in reality talent show called The World Best and it makes them more popular worldwide I guess. You should check more of their performances. 😊

Welcome to the world of the TNT Boys!
They had been singing about a year here- they had just won a show called Your Face Sounds Familiar kids- where they would dress up as artists both male and female and imitate them. All of them performances are on TH-cam. They won the show with 100% of the votes. So that’s where the confidence stems from, and singing on the street for money, and in shopping malls. Mackie had a bit of coaching prior to the boys getting together, but all three just have natural, god given talent.
Their vocal coach and arranger is coach Froilan Canlas.

Mackie Empuerto on the left, he is the prince of riffs and runs. Such a smooth tone, he is a master of vocal acrobats haha. He was 12 on this video.
Francis is our soulful Belter, he is the youngest, he just is 14. He is the one in the middle. He was 11 on this video. He is the belter and brings the soul to the group!
Keifer is the whistle king. He is the oldest, he is 16 now, he was 13 on this video. His notes hit space they are that high. He even mastered whistling through puberty!
I suggest you watch the earlier videos first like Listen GGV which is where they first sang as a group, an on the spot performance of listen that went viral, that was over three years ago.
They all competed against eachother on a show 3.5 years ago called Tawag Ng Tanglahan kids (hence the name TNT) , they were all runners up, then that guesting on the GGV show where they did the on the spot singing battle went viral, they then performed on all 4 versions of little big shots (Philippines, UK, US and Australia) please react to them doings Listen on Little Big shots, and somebody to Love.
They sing Bang Bang, and I am telling you, and I Will Always Love you, A Million Dreams, This Is Me, and they have a debut single “Together We Fly” they sang on on Wish Bis USA. Please react to that. It’s AMAZING! And they started to release a new cover every Thursday when lockdown began to spread joy to all their fans. Their most recent covers was this one- Boys II Men “End Of The Road”... and more recently “I will be here”, their voices are all a world away from when they were younger, but they still sound amazing, harmonies are their superpower. They have much more mature voices now, which has been interesting to follow but no matter how much their voices change they will always be phenomenal. Their talent is so natural.
Not only are the boys the most talented kids ever, having been acknowledged by Jessie J and the Bee Gees, snoop dogg, Ellen and they sang with Ariana Grande on the James Corden show (you should watch that too! So emotional, she is their idol and it was a suprise) but they are the kindest and most humble boys on earth, they had super humble beginnings and they are so grounded. They sang their families out of poverty. The more you watch them, the more you will love them. They are superstars.

TNT actually stands for Tawag Ng Tanghalan which is a singing contest here in the Philippines and these 3 boys joined the contest and competed with each other. But after the finals, they formed a group with these talented kids and decided to call them after the name of the contest hence they're called the TNT Boys... Elain Duran also joined the contest (adult edition) and won during the finals

These kids are a product of ONE season of TNT singing competition that happens every year. They were created as a group accidentally based on challenge. This means that every year, there are kids who competed in this singing competition that has the same talent level.

TNT is a Talent show for singing competition. They named those boys tnt as they all competed in the said Talent show and formed thru that show. So many great singers have been discovered there. Listen to Elaine Duran Versace on the floor when she competed on the same show.

From left to right: Mackie Impuerto, Francis Concepcion, and Keifer Sanchez were in the same singing competition called Tawag ng Tanghalan (Call of the Stage) kids edition. This is the same singing competition that put Elaine Duran on the map. Fun fact: these boys were only runner ups. Keifer came in 2nd, Mackie 3rd and Francis 4th. On one of their press tours after the competition, they guested on Gandang Gabe Vice (Good Evening, Vice). Vice, the host of the show, had asked the kids if they had interests in acting and when they said yes, the host challenged them to act out a scene between two good friends (Keifer and Mackie) and a bully (Francis) while singing Listen form Dream Girls. To note in the performance, Vice was directing who was going to sing lines while suggesting what emotions they should be portraying in the scenario concocted on the spot. They did so well the performance went viral, Snoop Dog and Laverne Cox tweeted about them. This was when the TNT boys started gaining notoriety. At the time of recording of this performance, the trio was fresh off the show called Your Face Sound Familiar kids edition. The concept of the show was that singers needed to emulate not only the singing style but also the looks of the original singer of the piece they would be performing. I personally do not like the concept because it feels like it would be killing the artistry involved in making a song your own. KZ and Michael participated in the grown-up edition of the show too. But the show was great for one thing I think: it honed performance skills. If you looked back to the Filipinos gone viral videos you'll notice that majority of the singers tended to stay in one place and let their voices do the entertaining. While in the show the TNT Boys were coached by Jed Madela (classically trained singer) and Nyoy Volante (renowned singer/songwriter). They taught the trio how to listen and appreciate creating beautiful sound together instead of competing against each other. This show really did help bring out the boys' personality, either because they were young or because the costumes gave them the freedom to be somebody bigger than themselves and somehow absorbing that greatness into their performances as they there the season's, hands-down, favourites to win and did become the grand champion.

Most of the kids from the Philippines have no formal training. They just practice in a karaoke machine (i bet mostly). This talent in singing in the Philippines is massive. TNT Boys are really exceptional when it comes to harmonizing considering their age. I'm a big fan of them. Pls check all their performances especially in a talent show called World's Best and you'll be amazed how they improved a lot.
They competed against each other in a singing competition which none of them won and they were put together on a variety show with Vice Ganda and started to perform together after that.

Tnt boys is not under Froilan Canlas. I think they have a multiple coaches today balancing their voices together as it changes. Froilan is coaching kids not teens

Coach Froilan Canlas is there Vocal coach who also competed in the first season of tawag ng tanghalan (tnt) it's where they get their name. They joined tnt kids competing against each other.

Even at such a young age, there kids have been performing on stage in singing competitions since they were probably 5 or 6 years old.
At this stage of their careers they have already 5 or 6 years performing in front of an audience or tv studios. Basically half their lives
They had been together one year on this video. That’s the only practice they had. Francis learned to sing when singing on the street for money to feed his family. He has 8 siblings- they all slept in one bed in one room. Mackie was more into dance, but did have a couple of coaching lessons as a kid, but they were poor and couldn’t afford it.
Keifer never really had any experience other than singing at home on karaoke.
Now they are older they have 4 years experience. But their talent is all totally natural. They sang their way out of poverty :)
finally these talented boys are a must for me to subscribe to any channel. Been following them since 2017. I truly believe the best is yet to come. Right now they are adjusting and learning their new vocal ranges which is still amazing because even though in puberty Keifer still can whistle as well as the other boys. But apart from their amazing vocals their friendship and humbleness is what I love most.
They have been together since 2017 and they last performed live on stage together (all 3) a year ago this month. Have been going strong, singing together virtual and singing solo covers as well. They each have their own YT Channel and have done quite a few covers by themselves. The best way I describe them is, the 3 are all capable of being lead singers, all 3 boys with dynamic vocal acrobats that they have and that about sums it up. Those skills + our boys = THE TNT BOYS. They're part of the top 5 Finalist on the It's Showtime's singing contest "Tawag Ng Tanghalan" (TNT) 2-3 years ago. The whistle prince is Keifer Sanchez (won 2nd place), center is belter prince Francis Concepcion (5th place) & runs & riffs prince is Mackie Empuerto (3rd place). Their trio formed after Vice Ganda asked them to do an act while singing Listen then it went viral & the rest is history. This kids is not just talented, they're amazingly gifted. They're not just can sing unbelievably good but can dance, rap & impersonate literally good too even on LIVE. The lists of their amazing performances are too long but their top best was on The World's Best performance of And I'am Telling You, Flashlight & Listen. These kids are great. They went viral after covering Listen for fun in GGV where they were made to act out a scenario while singing. It was very spontaneous. They were invited to the show along with the other two finalists of a singing show where they all participated and which just wrapped. Because the performance went viral, they got invited to many events together and that's how the TNT Boys got formed.
You have yet to discover what the children in the Philippines are like. Check out The Voice Kids and Teens editions. They're monsters on stage and very comfortable doing what they do. They cover different genres of music, not just the Beyonce type songs. Watching them is one of my life's guilty pleasures.

They're the mini version of Budakhel! Love these boys! I believe they started in a singing competition (Tawag ng Tanghalan aka TNT) where they competed against each other. Later on, they appeared on a TV show as guests, together with another contestant, but the 4th boy was feeling sick and didn't get to sing live - so the 3 of them sang together. That's how the trio started!
Mackie (Left) is the little prince of rifts and runs; Francis (Centre) is the belter; and Kiefer (Right) is the one who can whistle.
Their voices are changing because of puberty and Manila is still in lockdown I think they don't get to sing together atm. But they still do perfomances online from their homes.

They’re contestants on a tv show. Although they’re not together as contestants and one of them got the 2nd prize the other the 3rd and so fort. They were guested in one show and made them sing together and it went viral and that’s how they started their group.

At the time when Flashlight was recorded in 2018, the boys were 12 (Francis), 13 (Mackie) and 14 (Keifer) years old. They all had their voice change now :)
They met in a contest on TV called Tawag ng Tanghalan kids edition. Their arranger was also a contestant and a finalist in the same singing competition adult category.

They have already polished their craft after they have hurdled many and difficult singing contests until they succeeded to win the championship in a prestigious talent show on national television here in the Philippines. They were product of individual performances who managed to reach the finals in one contest(Tawag ng Tanghalan, where they got their group name)who later banded together and won the championship in another prestigious contest(Your Face Sounds Familiar, where they imitate different singing groups in costume and voice).
