Had the EXTREME pleasure of seeing Zepperella in St. Louis few days ago. AWESOME performance! It was pure pleasure meeting Gretchen Menn and Anna after the show. Didn't get to meet Clementine, but met Holly and my wife chated with her parents good part of the night.
[Expletive deleted], I just love this so much. Those hammer notes at about the three minute mark, and the central riff itself and variants ... magic. Thank god for music. It somehow makes the rest of existence worthwhile.
Gretchen Menn is so good looking it can distract you from her music with is heavy and progressive and intelligent . I have read about her and she has excellent taste and influences . She was also a pilot . Really gifted talented person . Glad she is making her own music and has grown beyond cover bands .
You do have a point. I get distracted when watching her videos. So much so, that I forget to give it a Like, LOL. I've had this on a playlist for a couple years now, and just now cliked the Like....
We got ourselves a legend in the making, a genuine rocksong. Can hardly wait to see what you create for us next..............you are an amazing talent Grethen. ROCK&SOUL.....Cheers
Those lead and bass runs at about the 2:00 minute mark are just amazing. And it just gets better from then on. Look, it's two in the morning, I'm an unhappy insomniac looking for respite, and this is making me happy. Thank you.
Gretchen, you've got some serious musical chops! In addition to the work you have done with Zepparella, this just proves you can stand on your own two feet!! You've got it all beauty, brains, and some serious talent! Other musicians can learn A LOT from you!!! BRAVO! ~Jackie
This is excellent! Has a pronounced Steve Morse vibe to it, and that is a high compliment in my book. I like the solo trade off in the middle with Gretchen and Stu, and the clever little two-handed tapping bits she does throughout the song, especially near the end, are really neat. Plus, sue me, I have to say this...oh, dear god, she is gorgeous. Beauty and talent and songwriting ability wrapped into one flaming haired package? Yes, please! Keep up the great work!
I hate" Valentino Victory Lap", but this track is truly stunning ! Wow. Listening to it for 3 hours now. Very talented guitarist. Great licks everywhere ! Haha.
Holy shit. I've known I've sat here and listened to this song over 300 times since I've first heard it about 3 to 4 months ago. I can't believe this song only has 103,745 views as of now. This has some amazing guitar work. What I've always wanted to hear, but never have type shit. Why isn't this babe super famous and on top of the world? This song is so fucking amazing, It's "great, with the real definition of "great". I hope this girl explodes with fame. Fuuuuucccckkkkkk
It's 3.42 am, I am sleepless in leafy Kingston upon Thames, just checking my stuff ... and STILL this has the power to make me boogie around the spare room.
Have to agree with Kamen,... solid, amazing talent..and dear GAWD drop dead gorgeous.....watch out world! ...PS gotta love Stu's playing, and his new signature Washburn axe..he will always be one of my favorite influences...
What a breath-taking and smoldering-ly Gorgeous Goddess! The talent alone is just attractive in itself, but, my goodness..... No more words, just "Whoa."
Really cool when you hold the harmonic with slight vibrato then dub the blues lick, then the arpeggios over the the top.....well done. Chas from KILLCODE
@@gretchenmenn Yeah!!! \,,/ great players works hard. There're no shortcuts!!! I think gifted people like you are charged with a big load of will and resilience to spend hours studying music and achieving good performance!!! 🤪
Wow!!! Excellent!!! This is MUSIC! Not a dull nanosecond! At long last a lady who composes intrumentals and doesn,t want to be a nightingale (which is worse than a lightning ale - sorry, bad play on words, but I,m a silly poet:). And what a fine jazzrock piece! Full of ideas, dissonant tastes etc. The basser is outstanding too! Keep Him Gretchen! (I,ve faved this piece.) But 1. of all. THANK for the JOY!
This time I have come here via Fender's 'TopTen Guitar Goddesses', but I have been here before, without prompting. Because this is just amazing, and stands or falls on its own. Now off to watch 'Scrap Metal'.
Really stylish stuff, Gretchen! But come on, you gotta do more videos! Don't make us beg! And, of course, Stu is a God. Very nice, supple bass lines here.
Hey Gretchen !super cool your fine guitar style reminds me of Charlie Sas. he can be heard in the London tube either at Piccadilly or Leicester Sq. 👍👍☝
Far and away the handsome-est and graceful-est guitarist around. And it's a she!
it's yours babe.....the oyster.....wait'in for your next miracle....never, EVER surrender to the machine.Keep on Rock'in

Great style, great sound, love that she doesn't try to be another boring shredder. She has very good flow, the music is very good and listenable!

Bass and drums are also great.
That was great
Like the way the guitar doesn't need a bunch of delay & reverb.Real gritty & chunky tone. Thank you Gretchen!
Gretchen is fantastic! And that guy is a monster on that bass! Wish I could play like either one of them.
.
I love this tune!!!!!!! Gretchen is amazing and Stu and John are a perfect compliment to her.
This song is humorous, dissonant, funky -- totally captures a feeling. I love it!
Stu Hamm is the man! Gretchen Menn is the goddess!
Not only she's talented and beautiful, but she's also a guitar player that can write music scores!
Beautiful. And pinch harmonics as few can perfect.
Gorgeous video - love the color contrasts (and the music)
Fantastic, and great to see Stu Hamm! John Mader was awesome as well 😁

Gretchen and Stu, you both got magic fingers !!
You are a truly fine guitarist. That bass player is excellent too.
I hate" Valentino Victory Lap", but this track is truly stunning ! Wow. Listening to it for 3 hours now. Very talented guitarist. Great licks everywhere ! Haha.

Now I am in love twice. One with my guitar, and the second with Gretchen.
What is it about beautiful women rockers??? Meytal Cohen on drums and now Gretchen Menn on lead guitar! I am in heaven!
Love this, I want to here more.
