The only good weapon in this game are the AR in LMG and grenade launcher configuration, and the battle rifle, sniper rifle configuration, and occasionally the rocket launcher.
If they ever make a Homefront 3, we should get to use the KPA weapons and use the same exact modification system as in this game. The weapons in this game are awesome but I'd always wanted to use KPA weaponry, but because of that biometric id crap, it wasn't happening. But fingers crossed they make a Homefront 3.
I beg to differ, I think it really suits the theme. You are underdog guerrilla that tries to make wunderwaffles out of sticks and scrap to fight hi-tech enemy. If you just could take weapons from dead enemies and go gung-ho on their comrades right then and there, it would become boring lightning-fast. And even more generic shooter-wise. It would be cool though if you gradually acquired methods to circumvent or crack biometric identification, but could use it very sparingly and rarely. That would add complexity, challenge and stakes.
You can also put any laser on a grenade launcher in PAYDAY 2, the "Compact 40mm". It helps with hipfire-related emergencies. Those'll happen a lot since the iron sights are so bad.

Well fast reloads are a good thing. You don't wanna get on the open while you sluggishly reload your weapon.
There Is a channel where he upload a video of this reload animations un slow motion and most of them are buggy
