Hey! First of all it's new year .. Happy new year to you❤ i have just finished kniting these cute lill gloves for my friend's 1 year old baby .. it turned out so.cute.... it was my second project before this i knitted the baby booties that you made they also turned very well.. i really loved your way of explaining.. I was so new to circular needle i had never used these needle before .. firstly i was about to give up but i just followed u stepwise and i did it🎉❤. Thank you so much!
Thank you so much for this tutorial. It was life changing. Very nice. Superb. I will knit millions of mittens for millions of baby's. What can I ever do to repay you.
Yes! I kept watching the video over and over and over! When she said to knit every stitch but was alternating a knit with a back stitch I didn’t know what to do.
Thanks for waling through the magic loop aspect of this as you go. I am VERY new to knitting, and I was trying to look at how to knit with the magic loop method and couldn't quite get it till this video, watching you do it over and over. Now I am going to try these little mitts!
Thank you so much. I have a new little great grandson and have managed to make about half a dozen hats and mittens for him. ❤ What an awesome pattern 👏
I love your tutorials and all the information you give to us about all tools we need and specially the sizes and of needles, yarn and age’s very helpful for beginners 😍
Is there a way to make to knit these in flat needles and then sew it closed? I've been trying to use the magic loop technique, but I can't seem to get it right 😢
Not sure where I'm going wrong but I can't seem to follow this at all :( Also I think it's the tension of the cable but I keep ending up with a big piece of yarn between my two lots of separated stitches pulling them too tight to knit.
Great video I bought both your patterns on Etsy. I just wish with the mitten pattern you had shown how to tie in that last tail on the cuff, I am so bad at that, and also how to make a chain to tie. Also with the hat pattern I wish you had shown how to make and attach a pom pom, whenever I do it the pom pom flops to the side and isn't straight. The single needle finishing work is what I'm the worst at.
Wow thank you thank you for the video….I just finished one but I’m stuck on what you used for the cord…did you make and I cord or did single crochet chain?
I don't see why it couldn't be. Make a test swatch first if you have the yarn for it too see how the size changes, probably a 12 by 18 ribbed stitch swatch would get you a good gauge on how big it will come out. If the length is 2.5 inches then you won't need to do any finangeling probably
I'm really struggling to follow this pattern. Because of how you hold your yarn. I've tried holding it the same way you do but it's so tight I can't get the needle in but if I hold it the way I normally do it dosnt look right. Can anyone help me Edited I've managed to get it and have made 5 mittens now. Thanks so much. X
Thanks Sara. Ibwas waiting for mittens . Love it . Can you tell how many stitches and what number needle for 12 months to 18 months and for 18 months to 24 months. Appreciate your reply. Thanks.
If using same needle size I would just add 10 stitches more for every size and add 6-8 more rows to make it longer and then decrease for same number of rows. I hope this helps 😀
Thanks Sara for prompt response. My 1 granddaughter is 15 months that is the reason I asked you. Appreciate yiur response. Also anytime will you be making mittens with thumb for 1 year and older . Thanks
Hi! Thanks so much for the tutorial. Just a question, wanting to knit for 6-12mo- do you recommend adding 10 stitches for this size? Also, how many rows to increase by? Thank you!
I’m so sorry but I don’t know how many stitches but you can make it bigger for that size following this same pattern. Just look in the information box. The information box opens when you click the title of the video.
Can't you give us a pattern with two loose or seperate needles. We also can't see when she make the first stitch in the first row where she put the needles in and she goes to fast to see where the yarn really comes from the back. Rather give a pattern with two seperate needles without the wire inbetween.
Written pattern is available in my Etsy shop crochetforbabystore. Here’s the link etsy.me/33sikwH
Omg...thank you for demonstrating how to use circular needles...I have been struggling for years 😭
You’re very welcome 😉
Me too! The wool kept getting stuck!

Aww thank you 😊
Why are you knitting through the back leg/loop for the body of the mitten?
Thanks for telling me! I’ve never realized that 😉
Yes! I kept watching the video over and over and over! When she said to knit every stitch but was alternating a knit with a back stitch I didn’t know what to do.
Thanks for sharing 🎉🎉🎉

Defo next on my knitting list as I've just started knitting and jumped straight into a basic c2c blanket 36" x 36"
I’m so glad you like it 😀
I love your tutorials and all the information you give to us about all tools we need and specially the sizes and of needles, yarn and age’s very helpful for beginners 😍

You’re very welcome ☺️ and thank you 🤗💗

Thank you, This is such a simple but lovely pattern, great tutorial!
Thanks for this! It was just what I was looking for to give my cousin a quick gift for her new baby :)
You’re very welcome ☺️
Is there a way to do this flat and then sew it closed? I'm somewhat of a beginner in knitting.
Not sure where I'm going wrong but I can't seem to follow this at all :( Also I think it's the tension of the cable but I keep ending up with a big piece of yarn between my two lots of separated stitches pulling them too tight to knit.

Definitely going to make these mitts.
So cute
I do not understand the physics of round connected needles 😅 lucky I have a bunch of double pointed needles to use!
That works too and probably a lot faster 😉
Hi
Use yarn 4ply or 8ply and niddle what no
Hey there! I want to try these using pipsqueak yarn (bulky 5) for a newborn. What size needle do you think I will need?
Very nice I just made it I
Great job!
Wow thank you thank you for the video….I just finished one but I’m stuck on what you used for the cord…did you make and I cord or did single crochet chain?
I just did a long chain with a crochet hook.
thank you for this pattern! do you think it could be adjusted for size 3 needles and dk yarn?
I don't see why it couldn't be. Make a test swatch first if you have the yarn for it too see how the size changes, probably a 12 by 18 ribbed stitch swatch would get you a good gauge on how big it will come out. If the length is 2.5 inches then you won't need to do any finangeling probably
Can this be done with two separate needles instead of connected ones?
No because it’s knit in the round
I'm really struggling to follow this pattern. Because of how you hold your yarn. I've tried holding it the same way you do but it's so tight I can't get the needle in but if I hold it the way I normally do it dosnt look right. Can anyone help me
Edited
I've managed to get it and have made 5 mittens now. Thanks so much. X
How could u make these on 2 separate needles please
I’m sorry but I don’t know that technique.
Thanks Sara. Ibwas waiting for mittens . Love it .

You’re very welcome 😉 I’ll what I can do since my son has also requested a pair lol 😆
would a 23 or 30 inch circular needle work?
Yes the 30in would work best. With this technique the longer the needles the better it works
Can I use dpns for these mittens instead of circular needles?
Yes absolutely 👍
Awesome! Thank you! I absolutely love you knitting and crochet videos! Keep up the good work hun!
Aww you’re very welcome 🤗
Hi! Thanks so much for the tutorial. Just a question, wanting to knit for 6-12mo- do you recommend adding 10 stitches for this size? Also, how many rows to increase by?
Thank you!
Yes you can do that and just add 4- 6 more rows.
I agree to complicated would rather do it in one row
Please upload a video how to knit a top to down sweater for 12 years girl.
How Many stitches do you have to cast on for 12 month old?
I’m so sorry but I don’t know how many stitches but you can make it bigger for that size following this same pattern. Just look in the information box. The information box opens when you click the title of the video.
Is this for newborn
No. For NB-1M use 3mm circular knitting needles with Aran, #4 or 10ply Yarn
Merci beaucoup
Kunde ya jotte btaya kro mam confusion rhta hai mam

This is way too hard. Couldn’t follow it, too frustrating!
