@@mastanvalishaik1962 This would be a great TH-cam video, thanks for the idea! I will definitely consider it. Sorry for the delayed response, I need to figure out why i'm not being notified.
Thanks Mitchell for this useful video. I implemented this scenario recently for one of my client and your video was useful for it. needed one suggestion from your side if we can implement a scenario where I want logic app - adf both active , i mean logic app 1 - adf 1 logic app 2 - adf 2 both active so in case anyone is down then the other one can take over the task. do you have any suggestion for such implementation. appreciate your help
Hey Radu, I'm just getting back from vacation today so catching back up on a lot of stuff. I haven't played with Dynamics yet but our company is in the process of moving everything over to Dynamics so this could be a good opportunity for me to explore it a little. What kind of trigger / event are you looking for?
Hey Mitchell, I'm interested in triggering a ADF pipeline when an account's status is changing in CRM. Also I need to send the account GUID to ADF pipeline as a parameter. Thanks a lot for your time
@@raduantonache1692 I would definitely look at Azure Logic Apps, and more specifically see what available options you have for dynamics there. Here is a video I did on executing Data Factory from Azure Logic Apps: th-cam.com/video/z0sMIN4xMSY/w-d-xo.html&t
Hi, Thanks for the tutorial! When we execute a DF Pipeline from Logic Apps, the Logic Apps does not wait for DF to finish. How can we put a condition in LA to make sure that the DF has finished executing, so that, only then we proceed to executing further components of LA. Thanks
I have a adf pipeline where i need to trigger it as a event based but unfortunatly we are not using any blog container so there is no option to take event trigger. Instead of these can we go for logic app ? If yes may i know the cost for logic app. Can you please suggest ?
Hi there, great video. The company I work for manages over 300 Azure VMs, we need to auto shut them down and start them at specific schedules for different countries, we also need to re-establish any applications that are not running after starting them. How can I automate this process? Thanks a lot
Much to like, but why does every Logic App presenter think they have to avoid the 80% use case -- uploading a blob to Azure Storage and triggering an ADF pipeline to put the data into Azure SQL? I seriously could not care less about all these specialty corner cases -- tweets, record-level SQL events, things that happen out on the Great Wild Web... it's all just distraction me. 🙂
Thanks Mitchell for the great video . It is really help full to the people like me if you concentrate more on Real time Scenario's like this .
Thanks Mastanvali!

This video was really helpful! What is the JSON syntax for adding more than 1 parameter?
Thanks for the explanation If my pipeline is in a git branch then how can we select a pipeline or we have to merge the current branch to main branch
Thank you very much!
Thanks Phani!
Nice and informative, many thanks Mitchell! What about triggering Logic App by an event in Dynamics CRM?
