I watch that performance nearly every single day, and he nearly did'nt perform because the doctor adviced him not to perfor because of a bad throat infection.

Hands down one of the best live performances. I play this every day. It just makes me feel better especially on a bad day. I love that you do this with your children, guaranteeing this music goes on for another generation. Queen is ageless. I'm amazed and thrilled by the cross section of people who discover and fall completely for this once - in - a - lifetime band every day. 💞

The best reaction vlog I've ever watch. Watching the kids listening to real music seeing musicians playing real instruments bringing out real pure sounds, voices out of their being. This is to me what music can do. Love to watch these children experience music. I've been blessed that I grew up with Queen music. First by my eldest brother we different ages 12 years. He was 19 when Queen I was 7 years started in earley 70 -ties, in the 80 I was blessed to hear their new numbers coming out. Just like Freddie sang our music changes trough the years but me I'm still an old friend to Queen. Excuses for my bad English im from Holland

You can’t go wrong with any of their live performances. They always added an extra level of energy to their live concerts. Try Keep Yourself Alive and Dragon Attack at this same concert at Montreal. Under Pressure and Another One Bites the Dust live at Wembley. Also try Stairway to Heaven by LED Zeppelin Live at Madison Square Garden.

OK I'm old, I saw Queen live 5 times. I suggest you watch them at Live Aid, to this day it's the largest concert ever held. It was in aid to raise money for the Ethiopian Famine in the early 1980's. At the time of Live Aid I was serving in the British Royal Marine Commandos in a refugee camp in Ethiopia. We listened to it on the radio. We were surrounded be the horror of the Famine, but when Queen came on the radio those poor soles who were there even reacted in a very positive way. I remember that a lot of us Royal Marine Commandos were crying watching some of the children dancing along, I'm teary eyed just remembering. I looked around at men I had fought alongside, who were tough, hardened Royal Marine Commandos who I had fought along side in a war against Argentinian's in 82. By the end of Queen's set we were dancing with the children. It went along way to help build their trust in us. The famine is one of the two worst memories I have. I only watched it for the first time last year, my son put it on the TV. A lot of memories came back and a lot of tears.

UNDER PRESSURE classix mix vid... Queen and David Bowie. AWESOME
This concert in Montreal 1981 has awesome video quality from back in that time because most of their concerts in the 70s and 1980s don't have this good of quality. Queen always put on an excellent live show and I love the band but I wish I could go back in time and see them all live.
The drummer does have a little bit of a raspiness in his voice, but he also sings extremely high pitched and hits all those Galileo's that are exceptionally High soprano notes.
Roger is an incredible vocalist and Queen as a band had three lead vocals in one but Freddie Mercury really put on the show. All four of them were Geniuses in their own right and one awards for musical writers Hall of Fame awards in 2003. The bass player was always the Dark Horse and could write these absolutely phenomenal songs that would go triple or quadruple Platinum!! Sure do miss John Deegan since he retired in 1997.
The quality is due to the fact a film crew was making a recording of the show over two days with movie quality equipment. Freddie was pissed at them for always being in the way and glares at the camera at the end of his intro. They wanted the two performances to be exactly the same so the could edit the film and vocals. Freddie kept changing his costume so they would have to use each song in it's entirety.
David Bowie and Queen cowrote "Under Pressure" - jamming"" - They never played It together - but at the Tribute concert after Freddie had passed - David Bowie and Annie Lennox performed it with John, Roger and Brian.

Bryan singing part of " who wants to live forever" is absolutely beautiful and then Freddie Mercury comes in on part of it and the two together sound incredible.. it's a tear-jerking song if I've ever heard one and the video is outstanding

There has not to this day been an equal for this Stellar band ! What style, charisma, and musical integrity they had...All the young musicians today need to emulating this..these were truly creative musicians of the highest caliber. No Autotune, no over quantizing. They could really sing and really play !take heed you musicians out there..this is what real superstars look like ....not social media ! You guys did a fantastic job on your reaction...you won my subscription because you do something not many know how to do today ...You Listened, and felt it ...Ill be back !

Lovely reaction! More Queen! They are best live with a few exceptions. Check out White Queen Live at the Hammersmith Odeon 1975 and for some Roger Taylor angelic backing vocals In the Lap of the Gods Live at the Rainbow 1974.
Queen was great with all the studio albums they put out...But they were awesome live...thank gosh many were recorded in video...for future generations to see...

If you're going to do Bowie, "The Thin White Duke", you should definitely check out his live "Heroes" from Live Aid: th-cam.com/video/JFHC6t13hi0/w-d-xo.html If you're not familiar, "Heroes" was about two lovers, one from East Berlin and one from West Berlin meeting under the Berlin Wall. Bowie had performed it before the wall fell, outdoors near the wall. He said that he heard the people on the other side singing along and that it brought tears to his eyes.When the wall finally fell in 1989 the German Foreign Office officially thanked Bowie for being a catalyst in bringing the wall down. One of my favorites.
