The "Don't piss anyone off" comment sounded so out of place. The Vince McMahon from the 90s and early 2000s would never tell you that. He would encourage you to stand your ground and always fight for what you believe in.
Chris Benoit, on a technical, in ring performance, level, was my favorite wrestler of all time. With that being said I don't think he should go to the Hall of Fame. I hark back to the words that went through my head when I heard about his death and what he did to his family, "He threw it all away." I've never felt so sad about a wrestling death as I did his
funniest moment in the interview was when austin goes to vince last question vince we only have 1 minute to go........vince goes oh well im the boss so lets add 15 more ......lol
I FUCKING LOVE what you said about Kane V Ryback! Just soo you know GMW, you've inspired me. I am considering starting a channel the night of the RRumble which I will be attending live!
*applaud* Thank you. Thank you. I loved when you called people out on how the Attitude Era was NOT the greatest era of all-time. I enjoyed it as a teenager, but at the end of the day I felt that a good majority of that era.....sucked. Especially 1999. You have no idea how much I hated that year with the WWF throwing s**t on the wall and hoping that it sticks. 2000 was my favorite year with the talent that it had and them focusing more on the in-ring product which they had to do with guys like Jericho, Benoit, Guerrero, Saturn, Angle and many others who were there. It was good for what it was but like you said, it opened up the floodgates for a bunch of smarky know-it-alls who don't know jack. Talking about how they're a smart mark (which is b.s. cause we're ALL marks), how they hate John Cena, how they should go back to the Attitude Era, how they hate John Cena, how everything sucks because it's PG, how they hate John Cena, how everything would be better if the TV-rating was TV-14 (cause you know that's working so well for TNA) and did I forget to mention how they hate John Cena? Now I'm the farthest thing from a Cena fan, but he gets picked on for some stuff that OTHER guys have done and no one ever wants to bring it up cause 'they are legends' or some biased excuse like that. And also, I find it funny that people say that they hate Cena and they still bring him up every chance they get. It's just hilarious to me.
I enjoyed the hell out of Steve and Vince's podcast interview on the WWE Network. I really think the WWE and Steve should possibly/maybe make Steve's podcast a weekly thing on the Network it could really draw interest, etc too the Network. I thought the questions Steve asked Vince and Vince's responses were good like Punk,Randy Savage being in the HOF and why Taker's streak was ended. I know not everyone is gonna agree with everything in Vince's comments but I thought he did a good job like you said people should give the man a break. I think will see a 2nd interview with the two of em in the future 4 sure cause Steve did teased a possibility of that happening. Great reaction GMW.
Paul Heyman takes all the credit for CM Punk keeping his gimmick. Heyman working with Punk down in FCW so closely and being friends he pulled for Punk to keep his name and Gimmick.
I love wwe attitude era now things change and some of my favorite memories in wrestling and it was unpredictable that's what I miss but I still watch not a whole show
GMW, the network not being in the UK is bad, but isn't isn't the worst. People still can get it there, it is just a tad more convenient if it is officially there. We didn't have this network in Aus until August or whatever. I just ued a simple loophole and had the network back in Feb when it launched.
I would have thought of anyone on youtube to have some respect for Kane and his time in the industry it would have been you, that was kind of a kick in the chest hearing someone like you disrespect him like that.
That is just one symptom of a laundry list of WWE's current failures, if they had brain one he would be on a limited schedule, and his appearances would be wrecking people. Had they not so painfully dropped the ball he could have had a decent run with Wyatt, but just another of WWE's failures in creative.. and that's 100% of what nearly every problem with the WWE's TV product boils down to, not the worker's fault, the bosses. And some poorly timed injuries, also I will grant.
Erik Hawkke I forget when, but before he put his mask in a Jar... AGAIN. Some shit was going down in the ring, and He choke-slammed a Ref. THAT was awesome. But I don't think they want him as a Monster anymore.
As a Canadian, the WWE network was such a miserable experience. It had only a small portion of the content advertised. For support I was made to contact the WWE who then informed me that it was my cable providers issue, and vice versa on their end after 6 months of communication and NO resolution I dropped my subscription. Whatta waste
+Dallas Lockrey I feel sorry for your case because when its working its awesome. I dont watch Raw smackdown or ppv currently haven't kept up with wrestling since 03 maybe. But for the oldschool content all oldschool ppv interviews from legends of my era and all the old raws and smackdowns from the 90's in HD its just amazing and makes me want to give the product today a try.. Hope they fix it for you Canada is a big WWF market you guys are home to my favorite wrestler of all time Bret Hart..
At the beginning of the podcast since they were talking about the network I wish Stone Cold would have asked Vince when will more of the attitude era raw's or smack downs will be added to the network? Or just ask him how do the WWE decide what content to add and when? I really wish we had more of the 80's on the network
common GMW that 'special attraction' is one of the lamest excuse I have ever heard. He is a part timer and he wants to stay that way, his terms or nothing. Losing the streak to Lesner is a way of Vince saying that no one deserved that privilege in the roster. As we all know Lesner will gain absolutely nothing from it. WWE had the opportunity to capitalize on Punk when he was hot, he could have had a good year with relevant fueds ( screw that Nash/HHH bs what a disasters follow up to one of the hottest wrestler in the past 10 years in WWE). Punk should have had all the big part timers put him over and then the following year they could have cashed in the streak. WWE even had a second chance with Bryan. Both could have easily been at the top now, but they totally screwed up big time. That is when I truly gave up on WWE and stopped watching. I would like to ask you GMW if a young Austin or Rock is in this current roster will they be the stars they become back then?
GMW, It's not a No1 Contenders match between Seth and John. If John Cena loses the match he will no longer be the No1 Contender and a new one will be crowned. I think Cena is going to lose this one, it's a tables match so a lot of things could happen to where John gets screwed over. I think they could be setting up a Brock vs Orton match for the Rumble, or someone else besides Cena to face him. I just don't see the point in having that stipulation in a match where John doesn't have to be pinned to lose, if he isn't actually going to lose.
***** lol yeah... don't really blame you. It also doesn't help that Cena completely interrupted the announcement and didn't even let Cole finish reading the damn thing...
TheDieHardWWEAddict I'm not ruling out him losing, but I can see it happening. Maybe it's just me wanting Brock Lesnar to fight someone else besides Cena before he loses to Reigns that's clouding my judgement....
I don't know why people thought this interview would be weak or even kayfabed. Austin listened to the AOW with Punk. No way he was gonna be upstaged by Colt Cabana without a little bit of a fight. He got as much outta Vince as Vince was gonna give. Very good interview, good review GMW.
It's a matter of taste, but I always felt WWE had a better production value and stronger characters, not to mention a build up of future superstars. WCW was mostly a who's who of WWE defectors and ego maniacs.
WCW was running the two hour program through out 1997 while WWE still had an hour program, guys were hoping back and forth between companies, You can't deny the aspect of the NWO angle along with Sting, and the quality of stars WCW had too, The problem is that some of those stars weren't pushed properly after '97. Jericho, Perry Saturn, Dean Malenko, Rey Mysterio the Luchadores, the whole cruiser weight division which also included Chris Benoit, and Eddie Guerro. Yeah it is a matter of taste, but I don't agree about WWE producing a better product in 1996, or 1997 when they still within that PG era mode slowly moving towards the Attitude Era.
they should not have ending the streak why not Mark Henery or kane hell kane could do it and it would be believable brock I like him but nooooo not for the streak should have been Kane or Mark Henery full time guys.... not brock
they have just hit over 1 million subscribers and wwe CFO expects this number to increase anywhere from 3 to 4 million subscribers in the next 4 to 5 years.
I still think to this day, Kurt Angle vs Undertaker should've been the match that ended the streak....love Brock but Kurt should've been the one to end the streak imo
But it's WWE fault on how we feel about about today's Wrestling. In any kind of business you have to upgrade to keep customers happy so stop kissing WWE's ass and making fans feel like we're overreacting when we only want what we once had and enjoyed. Notice happy meals today come with more food than it did when we were kids? How silly would it be if it came with less?
KalvinEllis Ok maybe as kissing ass was the wrong term lol. He just seems to want to see WWE and vince's side but doesn't want to see the attitude era fans point of view. Yes i get it he was watching wrestling way before the attitude era so he was around way before all the crossing the line stuff came so for him it no big deal but to us it is that don;t make him any better than us.
clicky3 I don't hear him pretending to be better than any of us, he just has a bigger sense of perspective. It's the same thing for current fans in their 20s or 30s. They have better perspective on the business than a 13 year old fan. Same thing. What's funny is a lot of these fans today do pretend they are above the younger fans, how many times the kids are being insulted on the internet by people who think they know it all?
KalvinEllis I don't think i'm better than kids today. Kids today like fans in their 20s and 30s only love what they grow up with and that the point i trying to make. Kids only love what WWE program them to love just like fans in their 20s and 30s were program to think guys like Stone Cold and DX were cool.
Dude, you talk WAY TOO FAST and say "fuck" in every sentence. If you use slow down your speech, you'll appear less nervous and more confident and if you only use the word fuck once in a while and not in every sentence, the word will have more weight. My 2 cents.
Pro Wrestling: Where the podcasts are more entertaining than the actual product.
I'm glad u posted this and hear your reaction! I'm glad Austin brought up Cesaro and tell Vince how they mishandled him.
The "Don't piss anyone off" comment sounded so out of place. The Vince McMahon from the 90s and early 2000s would never tell you that. He would encourage you to stand your ground and always fight for what you believe in.
He's also impulsive, we've seen that before. That was the question he wasn't prepared for.
Chris Benoit, on a technical, in ring performance, level, was my favorite wrestler of all time. With that being said I don't think he should go to the Hall of Fame. I hark back to the words that went through my head when I heard about his death and what he did to his family, "He threw it all away."

What do you care if Benoit is in the WWE Hall of Fame? He's already in a *real* wrestling hall of fame.
I FUCKING LOVE what you said about Kane V Ryback!
Just soo you know GMW, you've inspired me. I am considering starting a channel the night of the RRumble which I will be attending live!

Austin and Vince combination very great entertainment, Austin is great person

Hell fucking yeah!
Moby Ley Bring HHH shovel and we will settle this in a bury alive match at the royal rumble! #Bringit!
***** HHH once won a buried alive match without even being in it lol true story.
he did, look it up
Paul Heyman takes all the credit for CM Punk keeping his gimmick. Heyman working with Punk down in FCW so closely and being friends he pulled for Punk to keep his name and Gimmick.
GMW, can you please do a commentary on Chris Benoit and black listed wrestlers in the businesses?
If anyone wants this too respond!
TheC4gamer Yep. Yep.
I love wwe attitude era now things change and some of my favorite memories in wrestling and it was unpredictable that's what I miss but I still watch not a whole show
GMW, the network not being in the UK is bad, but isn't isn't the worst.

i still cant shake the feeling that wwe made aj leave and i hate that she was good and has nothing to with the punk thing
Undertaker's match could've been longer tbh I didn't want the streak to end
I would have thought of anyone on youtube to have some respect for Kane and his time in the industry it would have been you, that was kind of a kick in the chest hearing someone like you disrespect him like that.
Kane sucks in the ring now dude. His character blows ass too. He hasn't been relevant since he was tag team with Bryan.
It's just how it is.
Erik Hawkke
I forget when, but before he put his mask in a Jar... AGAIN.
Some shit was going down in the ring, and He choke-slammed a Ref.
THAT was awesome.
But I don't think they want him as a Monster anymore.
My comments were towards the Khakis Kane character, he's awful. No disrespect to Glen Jacobs, he's a HOFer but his character is in the toilet.
***** I like your opinions and positivity towards the WWE product, I wish more people from the YWC (cough cough OTRS cough) had your positivity.
Stone Cold Steve Austin's podcast is removed from the WWE Network
As a Canadian, the WWE network was such a miserable experience. It had only a small portion of the content advertised. Punk blew the whistle on WWE. Cena blows the chairman of the WWE.
punk who the fuhk is he ? ohh yea the guy who still hasnt headlined a Wrestlemania
I like the Austin pod cast he asked about cm punk and the streak being broken that's all I care about
At the beginning of the podcast since they were talking about the network I wish Stone Cold would have asked Vince when will more of the attitude era raw's or smack downs will be added to the network? Or just ask him how do the WWE decide what content to add and when? I really wish we had more of the 80's on the network
Vince should go back on Michael Lansberg's show.
common GMW that 'special attraction' is one of the lamest excuse I have ever heard. He is a part timer and he wants to stay that way, his terms or nothing. Cena will most definitely not lose this one Howser. Tables match or not
TheDieHardWWEAddict I'm not ruling out him losing, but I can see it happening. Maybe it's just me wanting Brock Lesnar to fight someone else besides Cena before he loses to Reigns that's clouding my judgement....
48:35 lmao
YET CM Punk's wife still works for the WWE. Thoughts on that?
She retired.
good video
He asked about roman reigns... being booed
the WWE network. it's a fantastic value!
The brige between punk and WWE (Vince Mc Mahon)
Paul Heyman
I don't know why people thought this interview would be weak or even kayfabed. Austin listened to the AOW with Punk. No way he was gonna be upstaged by Colt Cabana without a little bit of a fight. He got as much outta Vince as Vince was gonna give. Very good interview, good review GMW.
Vince is just so outta touch. Why they let the podcast go away from wwe
WWE didn't have a better product in 1997...
I strongly disagree with that.

I've always hated the Savage/Stephanie rumor, it's so fucking stupid
I still think to this day, Kurt Angle vs Undertaker should've been the match that ended the streak....love Brock but Kurt should've been the one to end the streak imo
Not now, back in the mid 2000's. I think Undertaker himself said if he could put anybody over for the streak he would want it to be Kurt
The fans need to give him the respect he deserves!!!!
I read that Verne actually body slammed a 97 year old man.
I read he put him in a choke hold. The poor guy died a few days later.
the "don't piss anyone off" WAS a horrid answer.
But it's WWE fault on how we feel about about today's Wrestling. Where is he kissing WWE's ass? He criticized several of Vince's answers from the podcast.
