Another amazing Todd and Tea "therapy" scene.....have I mentioned how much I LOVE Todd therapy scenes......and it seems like it has been so long since we had scene this Todd!
I don't think Todd has ever treated Starr like Peter treated him. No physical or sexual abuse, emotionally Todd is immature but I still haven't seen at any time Todd (OG Todd) treating Starr badly. Now SNV was a different story indeed~
It's so cute their bonding here, Todd is trying not to feel anything for Tea , but hes allready falling in love with her here, these 2 actors were perfection with each other
But whatever that love was, it never developed into a full and truly fulfilling relationship. He was not in love with her. She dumps him, angrily, in 2000 because he STILL won't be intimate with her. He rejects her rather stunningly in 2002 and in 2011-2013 he never glances at her romantically. Finally, TnT are really chilly with one another when he leaves the canvas for good. He's remarried to Blair at that time and very much in love with her.
Doubtful they ever would have revisited Tnt. In 2011-2013, they paired Todd with Blair 3 different times: on Oltl, on GH and on PP! Plus, writers chose TnB in a rather dramatic fashion in 2002.
The openness between these two characters was so beautiful... Tea helped us to understand a lot about Todd which helped her to love him more... he like herself was a survivor of not the greatest upbringing. They both had abandonment issues. Tea always felt like an outsider growing up that is why she felt like her and Todd could be such good ally’s. Todd knew it deep down that is why he kept trying to hold on to her. He knew he couldn’t love her the way she needed to be loved but he still was just as hopeful as she was that eventually he could be there for her... she was hoping he would change and he just want her to give him more time to figure out how to make her happy. He did acknowledge that he felt Tea deserved better...
In 2011 Tea tells Todd that she felt sexually rejected by him. She also felt abandoned by him on the island. He just wasn't that into her. Victor, she lets Todd know, really wanted her physically and Victor turned out to be the love of her life.
Omg how adorable was that interaction between starr & viki. It was so real. Starr grabbing for the candy was precious & viki so excited to see her & her brother. I adored viki & Todd's bond. It is sorta odd to see max & Blair in vikis living room. I know it was to set up this confrontation but max had not ever been close w/ viki even when he dated her sister & her daughter. I saw a scene when max showed up at llainfair when he was chasing Tina & he Said " sorry for showing up unannounced " & viki Said " well u always do " like he annoyed her. Lol. So it's fine max would trick or treat w/ his kids there but it's odd viki would invite him to stay. Same w/ Blair after what just happened. It's obvious Blair I assume pushed max to go to llainfair expecting Todd to show up but awkward that viki would fall for it. Viki knows how Blair viciously kept starr away from Todd until Blair & Dorian pushed the custody issue & Blair deservedly lost by getting violent & bigoted w/ tea calling her " chiquita" I only like Blair when she loves Todd other than that she is toxic. Also obsessive w/ men that are taken & tell her they don't want her like max when married to Luna or Patrick who she knew loved Margaret lol.
Blair and Todd can both be "toxic" people. He's a villain who really hurts a lot of people over his life and Blair has plenty of serious flaws, too. They gravitate toward one another in part because they understand each other and can relate to each other's lack of morality and deviousness.
Broken promises by TnT. Both Todd & Tea treated Starr like they were treated by their parents in some ways. Todd kept Starr away from her mother to punish Blair. Peter Manning did the same to punish Bitsy for leaving him. Tea abandoned Starr w/o a word, after the failure of her relationship w/Todd following their 2nd wedding. Tea lived in the same city, not far from Starr, but she didn't visit, call, or contact her in any way. Tea made no effort; she'd moved on to other men. Not Blair's fault.
@bjujubee yeah i love it...the only time i didnt like rh's todd was his return in 2000 it wasnt as dark as the 90's to much comedic ness..but at the same time it was still rh as todd so i got use to it..i hope if he returns its the 90's version of todd not the 2000
Tea too often came across as a mother figure or amateur therapist with Todd. And, sadly, it didnt seem to help him. His earlier talks with Marty seemed to help more and even his talks with Blair; especially when they were just friends.
@bjujubee im just keeping it real...i saw the new soap magazine it had on the cover tsj and rh and the decription said 'TODD SWAP' i dont know what that means but the head writer said its how todd use to look and remindin the fans of that, and it seems tsj is choosen not to resign and it doesnt look like any imposter storyline given the amount of time tsj seems to have and it isnt much.ifrh returns i really believe it will be of a reverse plastic surgery to his old face..
@bjujubee yes we will see but i will say something is up at oltl and todd story seems to have daytime talking...rh or tsj is what ppl tryin to choose who they like more..ive sid this a million times there is no chose rh created todd so the role is his and if i was rh i would copy right the rights to todd

More famous last words this time from Todd - ''I will never treat Shorty the way my father treated me''
Well now we know that wasn't todd but victor Jr thank god it explained away his unlike todd choices
Gosh, I wish there was enough time to revisit this Tea and Todd. Sadly, I think we'll only have time for RH Todd and Blair.

I love how little starr put her band out for vikis candy

LMAO....Star doesn't want Blair holding her.
Well at least Todd knows Bitsy loved him, now that Irene's turned out to be as bad or worse then Peter and Victor.
