that game 8 bishop checkmate is insane
I'm just so happy to see you play that Ponziani line. It's about the craziest line that I know, with white gaining two pieces for two pawns and Stockfish still says it's more or less equal after Qxb7.
Eric says he doesn't play the bird opening, but i should say that the reverse bird can be a very useful weapon, so if your opponent is annoying you feel free to flip the bird

A video where you walk through what's going through your head during famous rosen traps, or something of the like would be very cool. Like what you're seeing to get to a stalemate, etc. Would make great main channel content, like mentioned in this vid.

Love seeing you play faster. I can't tell you anything about how to play chess, but if Ben Finegold said it, it's probably a good idea. Watching your time nearly expire in mid game positions drove me wild 😜, but again, I'm not qualified to tell you how to play chess.

Not a fan of this “for choice” thing you’ve started saying all the time for some reason. It doesn’t make any sense.

Sir, would you rather play white or black from this position? Uhhh, I would choose black. Black was 'for choice'. At least, that is how I understand it.
I think it means that there are multiple moves to choose from that are winning. Like, if black's position is so good that they can choose many winning moves depending on how they'd like to convert the win, then they are "for choice". That's how I've understood it.
It’s a common shortening of “spoiled for choice”. I don’t like it that much either cuz he says it so much, but it is something that gets said from time to time
