The cop is right about what he said about not doing it again. I had a severe moto crash, I was driving reckless, I survived and now I drive safely. I start getting chills at anything over 65 mph. I cant drive fast anymore, my mind and body wont let me.

My daughter’s BF was killed on a crotch rocket after I had a conversation with him just weeks beforehand after he went to jail for getting caught over 100 mph. I told him I didn’t want my daughter to go through something tragic if he were killed. Needless to say, it didn’t help. Please be careful out there!
there are two bags and a lot of blood on the ground so assume the motorcyclist was definitely travelling at extremely high speed, i mean, it knocked over a freaking pickup truck
My 28 year old brother was killed while riding home from work on his motorcycle when a woman pulled out from a trailer park and turned into the direction he was coming from and he hit her front fender and was thrown 50 feet over her car and onto the road. His spleen was busted and his liver punctured and he die in the ER. She said she thought she had time to get across into her lane before he reached her. He tried to stop and left skid marks. It was 3 miles out of the city and the speed limit was 65. The police report said my brother was going between 50 and 55 mph whe he hit her car.it was dusk and his headlight was on and she couldn't judge how far he was and how fast he was going. He had his helmet on but the injuries were not connected to his head. She made a big mistake, she should have waited until he passed by her before pulling out.
Scott's one of the most respected people who cover these accidents, out there. It's in every officer's face & demeanor, when they speak with him. As far as "old videos"? Sometimes Content Creators, (CC's) need to update or make changes because the platform changes on a dime- Lame of them, but as our freedom of speech keeps becoming more & more limited, CC's need to adapt, so they don't lose videos that are archived. Then you can have tech improvements, new information, or maybe just a very slow week or two, so they put up content they hope people will learn from. Not all CC's are this way, but the good one's are. In this accident, I'm willing to be that the motorcyclist, (believed impaired), lost his head over this. Our bodies are mostly fluid, and while resilient, there's no way in hell it's going to survive blunt impact such as this, even with a helmet. And the human head for many motorcyclists, just happens to coincide with the top of the door frame and roof line. This isn't ALWAYS the case? But I've seen it damn near every time, with accidents such as this one. His passenger is insanely lucky to be alive. And for her, I'm willing to bet that two factors played into her survival, besides her helmet: 1) She was drunk enough to have full trust in the operator, so she was well relaxed & 2) forward momentum used his body as a sort of cushion, which helped avoid main-body impact, & propelled her over the top of the SUV and out into the bushes or at least a softer landing than the asphalt woulda been. Just "best guess" on this one. Maybe I'll see if any archived info still exists I can access, that doesn't cost anything. No way that SUV driver could detect that kind of speed at distance, at night, more than likely fully believing it safe to turn before they got there. That being the case however, won't save him, if he's found to be impaired as well.

Dont think the SUV driver had the chance to see them. If they were going 85-90 it would have been difficult. Speed always kills.
