The next Gen PCI express connector should be able to hold a 3 or 4mm PCB. That is the way forward, a thicker PCB to carry the weight and a 8 to 12 pci slot case
I think what Nvidia did to the 5090 Fe is a good solution, daughter board for pcie connector. And hopefully, like in the engineering sample 4090 that Gamers Nexus had a look at, with a metal core PCB for the connector. The daughter board will take all the strain away and we probably won't see any cards with broken pcbs or ripped pads on the memory and gpu

Very happy to see you participating in these events! We hardly see you making this kind of video. Thank you for sharing it, and if you made a vlog, please share that as well. We would love to see the BTS of this video.
The Aorus X870I Pro Ice is sick!! I just built my first ever SFF with it and absolutely love it. Clean aesthetic and tons of great features! You'll love it! Cheers
I do agree with you, that they managed to maintain the same size/weight despite the additional power draw, gigabyte and nvidia deservers some credit here.
I wonder how big the waterblocks are going to be, I mean i see the ones on gigabyte display but I think the founders edition is alot smaller everytime no?
eddy the reason why the rtx 5090 is able to get such a performance boost at 2:20 is because of dlss 4 which has a new feature called mfg (multi frame generation) which, as you guessed. It generates 3 fake frames for every real frame. Without the mfg feature, i believe the rtx 5090 gets about 20% more fps which is disappointing ngl
@@MrAnimescrazy the performance are out. Some TH-camrs got the chance to test the 5090 in cyberpunk and it got 27-29 fps compared to the 21 fps that the 4090 gets
@spiteroach are you serious? Cyberpunk is one game that was fully maxed out but what about cyberpunk at native 4k with no raytracing or path tracing etc. I am talking like how hardware unboxed or gamers nexus does like the actual in depth benchmarks. Different resolutions like 1080p or 1440p or 4k native raster, then those resolutions with the different upscalers like fsr or xess or dlss then dlss2 then dlss3 then dlss4 then native resolutions with raytracing then combinations of those 3. So like I said wait for the benchmarks.
@@MrAnimescrazy then it would be the same fps boost as I said, gaming at 1440p VS 4k isn't gonna give the 5090 a 80% out of nowhere it's still gonna be a 20%. Plus it was very clear the Nvidia was focusing on AI and AI boosting this year instead of native and physical upgrades/boost, for example the 4080 STILL got 18gb vram
@spiteroach no one said it would be an 80% boost. Based off of the rumors it is looking like a 30% increase for the 5090 which is the normal generational increase and good enough for me but like I said before I will wait for several youtube channels most likely 10+ channels to benchmark the 5090 vs the 4090 in those different scenarios I mentioned in my earlier comment. Obviously nvidia has been and will continue to focus on A.I. I don't care about the A.I. features but they are there if I want to use them. I am solely focused on the native raster performance and raster performance with raytracing and I don't use any upscalers. Now for the lower end cards performance gains I could care less. I am focused on the best of the best.
very intrigued to see what you will do with V6. I know you will use a 5090, but how will the build look if your downgrading or downsizing to itx? Clearly you cant use the same case as before.
The GeForce RTX 40 series GPUs aren't getting Multi Frame Generation, but they are getting DLSS 4's enhanced frame generation, enhanced ray reconstruction, super resolution and deep leaning anti-aliasing capabilities. Meanwhile, GeFore RTX 30 series and RTX 20 series GPUs are getting the last three. I’m good not from a 4090 to 5090 for what just more FrameGen? We still getting DLSS4 on 40series
So, if I'm just a regular Joe looking to buy a 5090, what's the best way to go about that? I'm assuming getting one on the 30th is going to be out of the question. Is this going to be a situation where I have to wait 6 to 9 months for a 2nd or 3rd wave of stock to hit the shelves?
It seems like there will be approximately 100€ difference with the gaming OC and Master, wondering which I should pick up 🤔 is the master going to be more quiet or cooler I wonder..
I've been saving up to do a custom build with you my budget 8k was wondering how I could get ahold of you just been waiting for the new gpus to come out
The 5090 needs its own case at this point
i’m not gonna lie i would be okay with that maybe get a PCIE extension cable route it through GPU bracket and idk from there haha
@@dylanmcmahonWith an absent GPU, do you think the cooling inside a case would be better?

The fact that you can fit an rtx 5080 in a sff case is unbelievable
Saw you at CES the other day, was cool to meet you in person man!
I screamed when I saw you hold the mini itx motherboard LOL!
2:05 what is that square shaped bracket? Is it for mounting AIO which specifically comes for the GPU's?
