Fun trivia: About the "thumbs up" scene at the beginning (where Jisoo is teaching a Korean expression to Lisa that goes with the thumbs-up gesture), the captions and even the Korean text miss the point. People see that scene and mistakenly think that Lisa doesn't know what the "thumbs up" gesture means. Actually Lisa of course knows what thumbs up means. The expression Jisoo used is "Dda Bong" (따봉). It means something like "great!" or "fantastic!" But it's actually not originally Korean. It comes from the Portuguese expression "tão bom!" (literally meaning "so good!").
According to the origin story, people would do the thumbs up when saying tão bom!" and the thumbs up made Koreans think of the fried chicken part that looks like a thumb (the upper wing used for Buffalo wings). In Korean, that part of the chicken is called "dalk bong" (닭봉). (More specifically, it's a combination of the Portuguese word tão and the Korean word bong, technically meaning something like "so Buffalo wing!") It became a popular joke expression in Korea a long time ago -- long before Jisoo was even born (probably being most commonly used when her grandparents were young). For the younger generation, it's not really used much (which is why Lisa never heard of it before). But it's sometimes used for fun, the way that people nowadays will use old expressions from the 1950s and 1960s (like "that's keen!" or "groovy, man!"). The word bong (봉) by itself means thick stick and the Blackpink light-stick hammer is called the Blackpink Bong. (Jisoo often calls it the "bong bong".)
