PS, your channel is more entertaining than most sports out there and more entertaining than boring starcraft, why? Because watching starcraft competitions is not fun, engaging, entertaining, it doesnt have the right energy. Your channel has. And RA2 games even if they are more simple, with less units... its nice that it doesnt have boring all sorts of upgrades and all sorts of ways to cheat. At RA2 and especially blitz which i like, is all about speed, fast tactics, mind games, maneveours... also its a very good balance between micro and macro. I like the friendly atmosphere, the way people play and the fact that not only pro people matter but also all people, all divisions because good matches can be seen in any division which is cool, its entertaining. Keep it this way out of passion and it will be awesome. And yes, sometimes with an old game which is not all perfect and balanced, you can do a lot in creativity because sometimes less is more and it shows here. I have a sugestion though. Let one game the bonus one free for all meaning let players use ANYTHING they want, including the grand cannon for allied, including the rocket launchers, super weapons...everything goes but only one game like this. if its 3 2 for example make it so that the player that lost at 1 point difference can tie it with the comeback in the everything goes match in which of course players can choose whatever faction they want. If it is a battle of cannons then let it be a battle of cannons, its fun if its only one game. then if its 3 3 make it so that the person that tied things to stil have a disadvantage in the next and final game, let the opponent that initially won by 3 2 choose the faction of his adversary. This way the one who lost has 2 very tough games to win but IF HE DOES, imagine the barnburner it will be, spectacular. And yes, the game with superweapons and everything wouldnt necesarly be fair, it will probably be very cheesy but thats life, the player that won with 3 2 still has the advantage in the last game. it will be a duel to the death in the all in game. Games are more interesting when they are also unfair to favor the one who lost. I imagine that in this scenario that i write here, the one losing will think, ok ill rush with grand cannons and recuperate my loss, do some cheese to make a comeback
Glad your enjoying man! Yeah catch-up mechanics can be fun for the spectators but definitely difficult to implement in a way that's not frustrating for the players. Not a bad idea though! Not sure what rocket launchers are though, and we do already have super weapons on. The only thing that's off is the grand cannon, but you really can't have it in Blitz or we'd have hour long camp fest games haha.
@@Iver you can do a catch up like this, make it only one match and only if the score is 3-2. Allow also Grand Cannons in this match and superweapons like nuclear strike and weather storm, maby give them for free at minute 5 in the game, like activate them, one for each player. Make this match as wacky as it can be, paradrop also some long ranged ground units in each players base. Make this game only as crazy as it can be. And to recover this deficit if the game is 3-3 then make it so that in the final game the player that won with 3-2 give him the option to have the advantage by choosing his faction and his opponent faction as well, if he wants a soviet vs allied match than make it so. It will give some really epic matches if the loser can make it to turn the tide even in these conditions. For the spectators it would be epic because many times if a player looses 3-2 it still feels that the looser deserves a chance to redeem himself. It would be like in the roman arena, give clemency for the looser because he fought well and give him a chance to redeem himself and even win the match but make it also hard for him, if he wins everyone to feel that he earned it. The wacky game definitely i propose some long ranged zoning and superweapons atack. Maybe even drop the countdown on superweapons from 10 minutes to 5 but only for the nuclear strike and weather storm. As a viewer i would certainly like to see one game from the series being different oriented not so much on tactics but on superweapons, cheesy grand cannons and paradrop action (maybe even make it so that troops are directly paradroped randomnly in the enemy base and you have to coordinate your strike with this randoom paradrop from 4, 5 or 6 minutes alternatively). I want this game yes to be unfair from a perspective but not from another because both the players would get the same options (if they choose allied to go with the grand cannon), both would get superweapons in the same time and the paradrops would happen in both the bases. Frustrating? Everyone gets paid so they shouldnt be, just play for fun and some money:)
Dynamic playin way too loose, floating literal 10s of thousands of dollars each game. You can't be doing that and expect to win. Crazy thing is though, he was making the games close af in SPITE of the fact he was floating; if he just spent his cash, he would have one every single game, no contest.
Like or Dislike: Like. That was exciting. I used to be addicted to RA2 and still appreciate its brilliance. The host did an exceptional job commentating on the match.
No way dinamic could have kept up with the money spending. Luke is way to slipery and he doesnt play like how you would expect, he is super tactical. even if Luke has an advantage he prefers to not cash in immediatly but prepare a better position. And Luke is the kind of player that is dangerous when he is behind because he does some wacky stuff. Luke weakness seems to be his base, it gets beaten down quite quickly but many players think they have the game only to be shown they dont:) Dynamic played offensively but Luke is better than Dynamic to play under pressure and in deficit so i think Dynamic should play more defensively against Luke and protect his base better. If Dynamic had a prism tower in the base then the Elite Ifv couldnt do very much of just sacrifice a few tanks for the ifv. i guess dynamic lost when the score was 1-1 it was an insane defeat. Luke is much better under pressure, he is that kind of player who makes more mistakes in the begining when the presurre is not that high and he is kinda sloppy too. But once the game gets on, you can slowly but surely see Luke doing some tactical moves. great game
Yeah for sure! Honestly just comes down to time spent playing at the top level. For Dynamic to be putting up a fight vs Luke is a feat in it's own rights. Luke is top 10 in all game modes and has been playing at the pro level for years. Dynamic definitely looking fresh here, but crazy how fast he's climbed. Another month or two and things may be very different 💪💪
