I live in Georgia and go to Gideons about once every few months. I always bring home cookies, break them into smaller chunks, freeze them, and then grab a chunk of cookie and put it in a different baggie and into my lunch box, and off to work I go. By lunchtime, my cookie is perfection again. I think if you allow them to thaw on their own and not microwave them, you’ll find that they are just like the day you bought them. PS: my mom’s name is Cindy Lou, too, and she is in PA. 😊

Hey there, big fan! Suggestion on the Gideons cookies... put them in freezer bags. When you take them out... don't microwave, set on the counter and let it come up to room temp. The microwave may be causing the challenge. 🎉

Nate, to freeze the cookies, make sure you wrap the in plastic wrap first and then put them in a freezer friendly zip loc bag. They stay so good like that and won’t taste funny when you warm them up in the microwave.
Microwaved chocolate chip cookies honestly taste almost freshly baked when cooked just right in a microwave and promptly consumed. Im not sure if there is anything better than a fresh chocolate chip cookie. MAYBE fresh bread.

I was at the Springs at the end of March. Got the cookie of the month for March and then went back for April...Gideons is the best. Also, we used your previous Polite Pig video when choosing a restaurant to eat at. It did not disappoint, the barbeque was soo good. Will definitely be going back when we visit next year.
