    I've purchased turn signals from eBay uk. I like eBay a lot than the other websites. Its cheep and easy to get it on my door step in 18 days.
    Now i'm buying tail light from eBay and i'm really happy for that shopping.
    Still i need time and its our best friend. Taking time but its make me a real cafe racer enthusiast.
    I love to making it by your great videos. Really love to watch your videos.
    I just got an accident few days back and cant wait to do my job to fix few things of my Suzuki GS-150.
    I'm from Islamabad, Pakistan.
    Thanks a lot RacerTv.

    Excellent advice, I am building my next project mostly in my head before purchasing parts or even the base model machine. Something around the Honda 125cc to become a Cafe Racer. I have been looking at parts I think will suit before I even purchase.
    My current project will be at the paint shop sometime in the coming week. It's a 2009 Triumph Thruxton purchased as a wreck, and by the way I purchased a British Customs Predator, Carbon Slip On exhaust for it, not the cheapest but IMHO a beautiful sound and look. Thank you for this buying guide.

    Can you make a video about the electrical system of the older style motorcycles? Before fuel injection. I can't speak for everyone, but for me (especially without any training), it's the most complicated and frustrating part of the project. Thanks for all your effort, keep up the good work!

    • @RACER_TV
      @RACER_TV  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      TheLe016 I know exactly what you mean. I have a friend who's having also electrical problems in his bike. It takes time, patience, and also waste money until find a little and tiny wire which was with bad contact.
      It is very difficult making a video about this kind of problems, because each situation is unique, and there are so many variables. But thanks for sharing your comment. I wish you good luck. Cheers.

    Excelentes dicas. Um pormenor que vejo em muitas cafe racers e que realmente detesto, são os retrovisores nas extremidades dos guiadores, mas há gostos para tudo e para mim não liga nada com nada os retrovisores colocados aí.

      huntersihelp Thank you. Well, I can give you some opinions or orientations. But i think you should look for other cafe racer projects, and take several ideas about what you like. I have a couple bikes and styles in mind. I just don't know what would look best. I have a Suzuki gt185. I just can't make up my mind of colors etc.. I really like the idea of black gas tank with gold pin striping. I also really like copper platting and would like to do little accents of that around the bike.
      Sorry if I'm being a pain in the ass

      There are many variables that can help in these choices. But i have to know more to help you on this. From which year is your Suzuki? The fuel tank in your project is the original from factory? Will you maintain the side covers?

    • @huntersihelp
      @huntersihelp 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      1975. I believe the gas tank is original, and I'm not to sure about the side covers. If you'd like or if it would be easier you could email me at huntersihelp1@gmail.com

    Yamaha is going to have makeover in the winter, properly whit time....... i have an old cb125k tank and old aluminium tank, probably going to put the aluminium tank on it, and i have watchin seats from ebay and what i have noticed that when you look the dimension of them, they are HUGE. like 700mm long , isnt that little too much........How long is your cb seat ?

    • @RACER_TV
      @RACER_TV  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +TT GarageRat Hello Timo. Be careful with all the proportions. Use the "Divine Proportion" to calculate de seat length. Some Honda CB Fuel tanks are too small for your bike. I'm not sure for the moment, but i think the seat of my CB is around 570 mm. Cheers.

    Viva, Em primeiro lugar obrigado pelo videos fantásticos. Como posso saber que materiais estão homologados em Portugal? Obrigado.

    • @RACER_TV
      @RACER_TV  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Obrigado amigo. Presumo que a pergunta esteja relacionada com as "futuras" inspecções periódicas a motociclos. Estarei certo? Se for esse o problema, não se preocupe, já que a homologação das peças ou acessórios, está fora da alçada das inspecções periódicas. Esse é um falso problema que muitas pessoas estão a levar demasiado a sério. Nas inspecções periódicas, só serão verificadas características básicas de segurança, tais como o estado dos pneus, suspensão, funcionamento das Luzes, piscas, nível de ruído do escape, etc. Um abraço.

    • @brascuca
      @brascuca 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      RACER TV está correcto. a minha dúvida cai sobre 3 peças: faróis com piscas, espelhos retrovisores demasiado pequenos e luzes da retaguarda em Led (uma linha única na parte inferior do banco). pensei que isso poderia ser "inspecionado" e não estar de acordo com alguma regra/norma dos componentes das motas. tal como vidros e ópticas escorecidas nos automóveis. obrigado desde já. Nota: o meu pequeno elogio não faz jus à qualidade dos vídeos!
      keep the excellent work!

      Era isso que eu imaginava. Não se preocupe com as questões da homologação. Eles só irão verificar o funcionamento desse tipo de diapositivos, ou seja, se funciona, ou não. :) Obrigado pela simpatia. Um abraço.

      Great advice! Thanks. I've been keeping an eye out on ebay and craigslist for bikes. There's a 1972 Honda xl250 barn find for $500 that interests me but I've read a lot of forums that say not to turn it into a cafe since it's a dirt bike and it ruins the shocks/feel of the bike. There's also a couple '72 Honda CL175s available in my area too. I wonder if that would be a better one to turn into a cafe?

    What is the perfect tyre size for a cafe racer???

    • @RACER_TV
      @RACER_TV  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It depends of the motorcycle and of the approach of the cafe racer project. If a kind of tires look good in a certain project, it means that they are the right tires. But if you are a purist, then thin tires may be the right choice. Cheers.

      If you lower the suspension(Front and rear), and adapt a new and longer swing arm, it can be transformed on a nice Cafe Racer. Cheers.

    • @RACER_TV

      +CHEESYMCBUTTKINSI used Autocad 2006 to draw the bike in 3D, and the 3D Studio Max for the renderings of my Honda CB 125 B6 project. But i recommend using the Photoshop.I think it's easier. Cheers.

    Do your bikes have rear fender?

    • @RACER_TV

      Sorry. I didn't quite understand your question. Can you rephrase it?

    • @JuisSekasi
      @JuisSekasi 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +RACER TV I mean do you have anything back of your bike so when you ride on wet road or on sand all mud and stuff dont fly on engine? mudshield or that.

    • @RACER_TV
      @RACER_TV  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      einsteinium99
      I think you are referring to the Honda CB 125 with the red frame(The Spark), right?
      Unfortunately, that bike is from a friend of mine.
      All i can say, is that we never ride that bike on mud or rain.
      But my own Honda Cb 125 B6 had fenders. I already crossed some wet road surfaces, and the only part that gets dirt, is the rear license plate, light, and real cowl of the seat.

    • @JuisSekasi
      @JuisSekasi 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +RACER TV Im building tracker and im just afraid that if i dont put the fender on back... rocks might broke paint on frame and it gets rusty. But it doesnt look so good with rear fender so maybe i just paint it againg after couble yars if it gets that bad. I really enjoy your videos :D

    in case of speedo meter some time it shows false speed

    • @RACER_TV
      @RACER_TV  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      That is because of your front wheel ratio. Before you buy a speedometer, check the wheel ratio to know if it is compatible with the speedometer. Cheers,

      RACER TV your so right but some are mention that ratio or match

    • @RACER_TV
