What a mix, class overalls, new holland cap, and operating a jcb fasttrac.. with what looks like a (geen and red) Class baler.. hence the title..brill and very educational vid..
Great to see the inner workings chap - Great to see your emphasis on safety. I had to rescue a work colleague from a round bailer once, a messy business. Thankfully he survived, but his arm was a mess.
Brilliant and informative video George - my there’s some moving parts in that bailer!! You can’t beat a spot of true maintenance to ensure a reliable machine.
Really enjoy this type of vid. For people like. Me wo have nver farmed it's really interesting how everything works... There is a lot. More to it than I emagained. Many thanks👍👍👍
George what's your personal opinion about the Claas baler compared to the Krone 1290 big baler which one do you believe does the better job either in hay or silage?
Awesome video young man! Really interesting to see how the machine works. I suspect the four people that thumbed the video down are just jealous because they didn't think of doing a video like this before you!
Loads of ways to loose body parts and fingers, but by god it make you wonder how someone came up with the idea of all the bits and workings to make a bale.
I enjoyed that George, thanks👍 still gave me he gebbies though, even with the self stick in there... I've heard to many storied in the ag and arb would of missing people! Is it hydraulic assist start? Didn't seem to take much grunt to spin it up.
They are not very forgiving, make a mistake and it'll be your last one. No hydraulic start, just doesn't take too much when it's empty. Different story when it's full, takes a lot of revs to get it spinning.
Agreed, anything with an engine will happily give you an arse kicking! Ahh right, didn't think it had hydraulic start. I was half looking into a 4band baler but was told I needed a good 160+hp to power one. Dunno what my hp is but standard it's 125hp but she's tweaked
@@GeorgeSaunders I can see how it links the pre stuffer to the plunger. In the video it makes the forks travel half the way when the plunger is in the back and the chamber is closed. But the cylinder does not extend or retract. Extending it can make the stuffer only do half strokes?
When you see all the moving parts on one of those balers it just reinforces the warnings that you should not work around the intake when the baler is running because a person is treated just the same as the hay or straw if you get yourself caught in the intake when it is running.

Happy 80K Subscribers George very good video very educational never seen inside of Bailer of this much Depth

Nice George. Amazing how complex these machines are with all the gears and drivers
Brilliant and informative video George - my there’s some moving parts in that bailer!! You can’t beat a spot of true maintenance to ensure a reliable machine.
Very nice detailed view of a fascinating piece of engineering , thanks George we dont get to see this normally great video.
Would love the same type of video for the mchale round baler
Amazing inventions, very well thought out...
Informative and well made, as always, thanks George

Be safe and cheers!!!
Still made me get nervous going in on those shots in side the ram
Awesome George. That intake and ram gearing is mesmerising. Brilliant insight Thankyou.
Always a good watch George 👍

Do you put anything on the metal in the bale chamber to stop it rusting over winter?
Great vid George mate where old Ben disappeared to then miss his vids have cut much silage yet
Is there a jcb version of that baler..
George: "I'll give you a quick poke in the baler"

Wow it'd be satisfying to see a video of this getting a good blow-down and power-wash
Awesome video young man! Really interesting to see how the machine works. I suspect the four people that thumbed the video down are just jealous because they didn't think of doing a video like this before you!
Are you going to the working Ford day this year down near Devizes George?
Great video

Definitely a video for the like button👍

Great video . The baler is very dirty
Are you interested in apprentices?
What does the hydraulic cylinder next to the ram do?
That hydraulic cylinder is what controls the pre stuffer mechanism, it's what allows it to take a full stroke or only a half stroke

I mean 'do only'...
I'm restoring an international 354 on my channel were would you recommend me getting paint from??
You could try mayhill tractors or agriline👍
@@GeorgeSaunders thank you bud
Nice video!! Greets Stefan

Help me gerbooks barring serves
Are you going to the Devizes working day again on Monday
I wasn't going to go this year, but I might.....

They don't forgive any mistake.
👍👍👍😀😃😎
Can see why balers are dangerous
Hello
Confused how this was a service it was just a look around and how it works
Impractical to show the lengthy job of servicing a baler
Big hing
Aaach George, your always mucky muddy cab ! ! !
Haha, it's always hard work trying to keep it clean!
Send me photo, when it will be clean ! 😂
Good video George 👍
