Woo hoo! Glad you liked it! I'm working to get all of them uploaded over the coming weeks. I also am going to start releasing new episodes starting May 5th AND have video of us recording the first 5 episodes. I'm really excited to have that! Stay tuned, more will come out each week!

Thank you for sharing! I am going to take a new nurse orientation this month. The information is helpful . Now I know what I am expected to do during orientation and mentally prepare myself.

I moved to a specialty unit. Many years ago and I was still a new nurse. Preceptor #1 was fantastic amd I learned much from her. They moved me to the shift I was hired for. Preceptor #2 intimidated the crap out of me and I was drowning. The unit manager arranged for Preceptor #3 to come from the day shift for a few weeks and she was fantastic and I learned much from her. Then orientation was over Preceptor #3 went back to her own shift, leaving me alone with Preceptor #2 who held me a grudge because I had made her look like a crappy preceptor and long story short I got bullied off the unit.
Many years and long perspective later, I understand better where I went wrong, where Preceptor #2 went wrong, and if I knew then what I know now, this story would have had a happy ending. But I guess it sort of did, because I landed in a place where I was respected and excelled 🤷‍♀️

Starting orientation on a unit with high turnover. They gave me 3 preceptors and I'm hoping for the best. 🥲
