Portrait painting with the help of an enlarged laser copy... simply effective!
Diesmal nutze ich meine Bürotechnik (Computer/Laserdrucker), um ein Fotoportrait zu vergrößern . Dieses klebe ich auf meinen Bildgrund. Die Tonwerte der schwarz/weiß Fotokopie sind für mich eine Hilfe, die richtigen Farben für die Coloration zu wählen. Es ist auch eine gute Übung, um diese Tonwerte miteinander zu vergleichen und aufeinander abzustimmen. Wer das nicht mag, kann die Kopie alternativ auch mit Kohlepapier durchpausen.... per Raster übertragen oder einfach frei aufzeichnen. Für die Colorierung benötige ich nur Siena gebrannt, Türkis und Weiß. Diese Farben sind auch sehr verdünnt im Hintergrund zu sehen. A propos Hintergrund: Der Link zur Erstellung :

This time I use my office equipment (computer/laser printer) to enlarge a photo portrait. I stick this on my picture ground. The tonal values of the black and white photocopy help me to choose the right colors for the coloring. It's also good practice for comparing and matching these tonal values. If you don't like that, you can alternatively pause the copy using carbon paper... transfer it by grid or simply sketch it freely. For coloring I only use burnt sienna, turquoise and white. These colors can also be seen very diluted in the background. Speaking of background: here is the link:

Danke für´s Lob! Ich habe hier einen Laserdrucker genommen, der Ausdruck ist wisch- und wasserfest. Natürlich könnte man auch einen Transfer damit machen.

Oh, I can't tell you how long I've been painting on it, time hasn't stopped.... The acrylic paint dries quickly, so I don't have to wait long between paint applications.

Hello, this does not necessarily need to be sealed... the acrylic paint is yes waterproof after drying. But you can do it.
