@@kayz08 I know :) He used Recall Kinsect rather than the vault. EDIT: After checking again he _was_ using vault but the palamute killed it before the actual explosion.
I watched this video several times and try a hundred times to make a kill. Finally I made it! Thank you so much Pochi! I think insect glaive Damage performance worst in Rise DEMO , because I must keep attacking every time and never die in mission .otherwise it would always overtimes(泣
@@MKP2W Right now there are 5 things that trigger Wyvern riding: 1. Silkbind attacks 2. Aerial attacks 3. Puppet Spider 4. Strong attacks from other monsters (non-Wyvern riding. I'm not sure if turf wars count) 5. Launching another monster to another monster while Wyvern riding 1, 2 and 4 has blue damage numbers so you'll be able to tell if "special" damage is being dealt. For what I can tell the only way to actually ride the monster over and over is if you can utilize 4 and 5. For the first attempt to mount it usually only takes a few hits when doing 1 and 2 and instantly when using a Spider. As of right now nobody has any concrete data afaik how you can do a 2nd mount consistently when doing 1 and 2 and I think the spider has a cooldown or something before you can mount using it again. In the video Pochi was able to mount Rathian by normal aerial glave attacks then he followed it up with a _Silkbind Vault_ attack. He was able to mount Rathian again when he launched Magnamalo into her. Same thing with Mizu to Magnamalo.
@@MKP2W Btw just curious, is this your first MH? There's a mount threshold like in previous games. The more aerial damage you deal the more that threshold fills up and eventually you can mount the monster. It's the same in Rise when using aerial in addition to silkbind attacks so just using a silkbind move _once_ won't cut it. If you'll look closely Pochi first uses the _Recall Kinsect_ silkbind to fling himself away and immediately air jumps towards the monster to deal aerial damage. Afterwards he uses the _Silkbind Vault_ to fling himself towards Rathian to deal more aerial damage. So in short Pochi used around 2 sets of continuous attacks so get the mount proc. The first one was on 1:02 and the second was on 1:05. So no, just using a skill _once_ does not make you mount the monster. Maybe if that skill was strong enough they maybe but I haven't seen anyone using a skill on the first try and proc the mount. Btw this only applies to your first attempt on mounting that particular monster. After your first Wyvern ride it'll be harder for you to mount it with attacks unless you get help from other monsters like in my previous comment.
5:01 will the felvine always make a copy of the last trap used or was it just a standard effect when used near a monster? There is no in-depth guide about it! Anyways, great hunt as always Pochi-sensei!
Impressive hunting! I can use hunting horn to kill this monster with several times practice. But I have not kill the monster with ig even for 70+ practice.
It's felvine, you have it in your inventory when your palico is with you and it makes them stronger but apparently also copies the last item you used, which I didn't even know until I watched this video.

操竜って、最初はなんか少し可哀想と思ったけど、縄張り争いで敗れたモンスターをハンターが操ってリベンジさせる感じって、個人的にはめっちゃアツいと感じた

鉄蟲糸跳躍、全身鬼火纏いの時はかなり強いんじゃないかと思ってたところでしたがやっぱり結構ダメージ出るもんですね
鬼火纏い時にある程度あてきれば陸上よりダメージでますね！
といっても少ししかダメージ伸びなくて地味ですが...(笑)

操竜する事によってどんなけダメージ量があるかがよく分かりました。
体験版のマガイマガドをどうしてもソロ狩りしたく何度もいどんでいるのですがこの動画を見るまで初心者で操竜の仕方すらわかってなかったので今度操竜試してみます！
操竜した時に最後のXとAボタン押す技は使わずに攻撃した方が更に操竜出来てダメージをとる事が出来るとこの動画で分かったのでそれも試してみようと思います！
自分は弱体化された操虫棍を使っているのですがほぼ15分間武器だけで戦って最高マガイマガドの腕と角の破壊の所まで行けてる感じです。

やっぱりランクとか関係無いですよね！普通にどんな武器も慣れたら強いんじゃないかなと思います。見てて思ったのは何か火力高い？と自分は思いました。自分はずっと狩猟笛を使っててライズでは超強化されて嬉しいのですが、変わり過ぎて最初は前のコマンドうったりwしてました。でもなれてきたら強い！ってなってきました。こんだって強いんですよ！爽快感ありそう。私もがんばります！これからも頑張って下さい。

基本的には火力がでる武器だからというより、この武器のここが楽しい・長所などというように捉えて使うのがおすすめです！単純な武器ランクとかは不毛でしかないです(笑)

That's just one of the silkbind attacks for the insect glaive. It's a very fun weapon.
You need red extract from your kinsect for multiple aerial hits
