Good one Cam. I was inserting then lubing. I'm joking of course but this will help many people who have the same or similar issue. Keep up the great vids Cam.

Thanks - had a bit of a break from them and am looking forward to getting back to the 28 soon.

Quality content now served with a 100% daily value of double entendre! Great info and laughs in this one. I'm doing a R&P conversion to my RA24 as part of the swap but this is great info to know regardless.

Nice - what setup are you using for the R&P - I've been looking at a few options too but would love to hear what others are doing.

Common R&P upgrade for the RA23/28 is the set-up from a KE/AE70 Corolla, if you can find one 🙂

Yeah, I've been looking for a KE70/AE71/AE86 cross-member for a while now but no such luck - KE Conversions are looking at building one from scratch that will drop into a RA23 so if they do that I'll probably pick a couple up and refresh both VC and Doofa.

Loved the footage of you lubing the bushes. It felt kind of naughty when you had your glove off. Cam 2023 - making idler arms great again!!

Shaft and bush jokes aside some great info for a job we will all have to tackle at some time, although you can never have enough innuendo, imho. O.

Yep, definitely looking at R&P options for some of the cars but i think this is especially important for people in Australia that don't want to have to deal with the costs of getting their car engineered with R&P.

Before inserting the shaft always make sure the bush is well lubricated. Some trimming of the bush may be required.

Sage advice - trimming is essential. 🤣

Put a powersteering rack and pinion in it

Definitely worth the investment on some builds, but not for everyone - especially in Australia where in order to get rack and pinion legally and avoid insurance issues you need to have the car engineered and pay for that rabbit hole. I'll probably do it to my '28, but not sure on the 23.
