I had my tax preparer filed my late taxes for year 2020 first he said it's going to take a month but it's now past a month but he said again wait another month, but I keep checking through the irs app it's saying my information is incorrect!

I’ve never done it that way, so I’m not sure how long it would regularly take. I’m sure it was sent through the post office, so 3 to 5 business days sounds right.

The IRS probably sent it to whatever address they had provided.

The address they sent it to is my physical address but I get all my mail forward to my PO box address so I was wondering would I still get it even though it has my physical address on it

That’s called doing taxes. There’s a lot of great resources on the irs.gov website. This year I use TurboTax but I also hear a lot of good recommendations for TaxSlayer.

Then there’s no reason to track the return because there is no return. At least, that’s what makes sense to me.

Did you file your taxes online or by mail? When you finish and you look at the paperwork it should say “refund” (my return amount was on line 35a) or amount owned (line 37).
Let me know if that helps.
Remember this is for your federal taxes not your state taxes. Every state has there own way to look up state taxes refunds.
