    What is the need of DCA1000 board when Awr1642 itself contains everything? Can we modify the algorithm on the integrated DSP in the chip? Is there any deficiency in the algorithm being used on it?

    this entire field of development needs more tutorials and community support like this.. this video is merely an intro and it's the only decent source online for it.. as a student doing my fyp on this area, am lost and I need help

      yes, i totally agree. Even when I started into this field i realized the same and that's why posted some of these videos, cause i knew people need more of this. And I am planning to create a community of Researchers and people working in the same filed, so each of us can contribute to it.

      @@AutonomyAvenue that's great news please continue to take a sample and then how you are plotting the signal from the .bin file and how to apply other analyses on the signal.

    is it possible to capture the Transmitter data as well?

      The parameters that determine the characteristics of the chirp signal, such as its frequency range, sweep time, and modulation rate, are typically programmed into the radar system and can be known by the radar operator. Additionally, the transmitted chirp signal can be measured and analyzed using a spectrum analyzer or other signal processing tools to verify its characteristics and ensure that it meets the design requirements.
      In summary, while it may not be possible to capture the transmitted data from a radar, it is possible to know what chirps are being transmitted in an FMCW radar system by programming and analyzing the characteristics of the chirp signal.
