The information which she provided to indian army while living in pakistan turned out to be true and india could actually help themselves save from the disaster.

Great thriller, small portion of it deals on the romance side, but mostly focuses on the thriller.

This is probably one of the best roles for Alia Bhatt and is a gripping tale of a young girl sent to the enemy country to spy for her nation. The stress would probably be enough to kill anyone.......my knuckles were white by the end of the movie.......

In the film, Alia’s character initially marries Vicky’s character just to spy, but as time goes on and she sees the fact he respects her love for her country and that he’s a good person and begins to fall for him but she does have to make a choice between him and her country.
Rachel's outfit looks like an Indian outfit and she is looking gorgeous in it.

Let me just start by saying that I love watching Troy’s reaction to everything.😄
Its basically a patriotic movie but yes you guessed it right. There is that “between love and country” kinda thing in the film. And its an awesome film. When spies from different countries move to another country for their duties, their whole identity is changed by the Govt before sending him/her to the other country. And even when they die, we, as the citizens never really find out about them. We never study about them n our schools, we dont see them n the news. And it really takes you by emotions, thing about just how selfless a person could be, to sacrifice his/her own family, identity and his/her entire life, for the sake of their country, also knowing the fact that they wouldn’t even be mentioned anywhere later. It gives me the chills.

The movie didn't portray Sehmat Khan properly, she wasn't some fragile weak girl. She was very strong and determined type of person. She knew that she was there for work , she didn't love her husband, she didn't regret the murders she committed. The last part where she cries is completely wrong, she was pretty emotionless at that time . But later when she got pregnant and gave birth to Samar khan she became very depressed and suffered from PTSD. Her son later joins the Indian Army.

Do watch it ... highly recommended ... Alia a gifted actress.... her work inside Pakistan played a big role tilting the balance in India's favour during the war of 1971 .... the war which carved Bangladesh out of Pakistan.

Actually it wasn't still independent in 1947 as West Pakistan discriminate against East Pakistan (now Bangladesh) that's why the war occurred and we finally got independence in 1971 thanks to India.
