Doing Something About My Alienware Aurora R6/R7 Fan Noise and Cooling

    That's awesome. For my custom pc I mounted all cooling fans to diy rubber stands, I think it was silicon shoelaces, very soft and springy, so it's not touching pc case or radiators. Did that with hdd's too. Completely eliminated unpleasant hum/buzz and it's very quiet.

    i have the same pc what I recommend and what i am going to do is buy a new case because where the psu is located it has horrible cooling with close to no intake and close to no exhaust what i am going to do and recomend is get something like the NZXT H5 Flow for 80 dollars on amazon

    How do I remove the frame around it, my daughter spilled chips inside it and I tried to find the guide. Through Alienware, Dell. But, it's working, although it finally displayes a thermal error message. It's salvageable but what can I do to get this fixed? It just needs to get the chips cleaned off the fan. I think it should be okay if I can do that. It's an Aurora R6.
