Todd the God is timeless, he always delivers, I remember watching the first time he played this, goosebumps, even now. He had no idea how much love the UK garage heads had for him. Great times, great tunes. Big up all the (special shout out 40 something) garage dons 👊🏻🔥
The violin sample on this track was taken from "The Carpenters - Maybe It's You" at the very end of the song. Nicely chopped, looped and given the distinct Todd sound. I also believe he's sampled other vocals from the original but it's hard to tell as you well know with Todd sometimes.
Only just got to know this one... I love how the drums aren't as swung and bumpy as Todd's normal productions, more of a straight-up rhythm - but it's STILL an infectious groove. Delicious.
