they need to do a studio version of her singing this song
Thanks DullerImage! Saw this performance yesterday in Grand Rapids. I was deeply moved when I saw Kayla perform this song in Toledo, and even moreso yesterday in Grand Rapids. WOW! My wife (RIP) and I had seen every TSO tour since the beginning. I couldn't go last year because it was too much to go without her. I wish so much she could have been sitting beside me to see this song performed. She would have loved it so very much.
I'd like to think she was with you friend, The spirit moves in mysterious ways. She lives on in you, as I'm sure you know.
I have seen TSO perform about five times, have watched numerous videos of them performing, have watched Savatage play some of the songs live, watched them in Wacken and out of all those performances, this is the most memorable ever.
If I need to pick five performances I have to watch over and over again while on the deserted Island, this will be one of them.
Heard in Greensboro on Dec 2 also. What a show!! My 4th TSO concert. It never gets old.
I was at this very show and it was AMAZING!!! This song was definitely one of my favorites of the night. I can't WAIT to see them again this year!
I was at the BLN show last night in Abbotsford, Canada and she sang this and it was the highlight of the night for me. By far the best female vocalist I've heard in quite a long time!
Seeing her perform this live and now on video I am still blown away. While the album version is good, the passion she puts into this song brings tears to my eyes every time. We all feel that heartache.
I saw kayla perform this live in Bostion with TSO. To this day I can't hear a single one of her performing this song without getting teary... as a child and as a parent.
This sweet girl is my niece.. hearing her sing this song is so personal.. The loss she has been through with her father, mother and recently her grandmother. Such a beautiful soul inside and out.
@@SweetSisterT Despite living in adjacent states, we'll never meet. But I am such a fan! If she ever gets a gig in Santa Fe, NM, my wife and I will be in the front row.
@@SweetSisterT Stay strong, Kayla. You've touched so many through your gift of a beautiful voice. Thank you and we're thinking of you.
Went to TSO with my boyfriend back in December in Chicago. I heard her voice and fell in love. Brought me to tears in the audience. Completely feel the heartache. I love her. She's absolutely fantastic!
I saw TSO that year (not this particular show) and cried like a baby when she sang this song. The version on the mini CD was/is good, but nothing can touch the passion she puts into it. I am now crying like a baby again.
So beautiful. Thank you, Paul and Kayla. Thank you so much.
makes me cry like a baby every single time. She knocks this song out of the park everytime I hear her sing it.
Saw TSO East last night and this song blew me away ! She has amazing range with a blues/rock feel.
went to my 1st TSO concert in the great city of Boston on the 23rd. this song brought a tear to my eye. just the way she sings with such emotion during it gives me the chills
we need a studio version of her singing this.
Her voice made me tear up. Absolutely amazing.
Chills all over me! Fantastic!
Such emotion! TSO Rocks!
I saw her at Raleigh NC, she is an amazing singer.
I just heard this in Raleigh, NC tonight. Absolutely amazing.
I saw them last week in Bangor, Maine and they sang this song during the encore after Beethoven's Last Night.
And why exactly isn't this version in ITunes? I was going to download it, damnit!! I am in LOVE with this song!
THANK YOU SO SO MUCH!!!!! i LOVE THIS SONG BEYOND WORDS!! lol i didn't even know the words exactly before you posted this!!!!
Paul O'Neill really knew how to find talent RIP
Great Job ! (filming !) And amazing song!
Kayla ripped down the house with this song in Raleigh on Dec .1
I
true story. I was very disappointed that she wasn't recorded singing this on the EP. I'll stick with my audio grab from this video!
I heard a little bit of this song on the new mini album. All do respect with the singer on that album. But listening to Kayla Reeves singing this and the album version is like comparing an HD TV to standerd def. lol just saying.
Really?
how can someone dislike that?
Mabye becouse people feel that she has not going true that she sing, songs allways sounds bettre when its sounds like its come frome experience. For me its just a lyric.
they should replace the male singer on itunes with kaylas version. its so much more passionate
I believe Jon Oliva gets part credit with O;neill for this song.
Dreams Of Fireflies ( on a christmas night) this is going to be in there ! se you tomorrow! :B
Saw TSO West last night @ AT&T Center in San Antonio, and heard Nathan James do a rendition of this song. Kayla is amazing, but, in my humble opinion, Nathan was far better!
She's good, but the male singer is better in my opinion. But don't get me wrong she's an amazing singer
wow, what else can you say.
Nice but I still prefer album version
Do you remember, look at me, at all the things we said we'd be..... REHASH!!!!!
The lyrics detract from the video.
Kayla makes my soul bleed
She is good, but this is nowhere near as good as the album version with the dude singing. I'm glad they didn't record it with her.
