Kreator is one of my biggest influences for my infernal tyrant project. I started putting a lot more melody to my thrash because of them and blind guardian
I come from a punk guitar background but i love thrash and want to incorporate it into my punk but i have a tough time putting the more more complex riffs over drums so I appreciate this lesson a lot!
This is a fun video to watch as someone not as big into Thrash Metal as I am into Crossover Thrash like Sworn Enemy, All Out War, and others. Combining Hardcore and Thrash is such a great blend
I'll never understand copyriting someone for a cover: 1) You're not James Hetfield. It's not going to sound like it. No cover band will match Metallica. Or insert any band, really 2) Free Publicity! Are you stupid, or do you just like to pay for advertising? 3) Bands like Metallica don't need the exposure anymore. But the SCENE, or what's left of it, does. The greed kills me!
Amazing man! If you have the chance, I have another lil darkie song that goes by the name 1983 that goes pretty hard. It has a great amount of pounce in my opinion.
Alternative methods:
- Power chord spamming
- Play random notes til you find a good combo
This is the way
@@DjentBeard it's how I hoard riffs without ever turning them into songs 😎
@@Ezper-2099 ahahaha, i relate way to hard
I just rip off my favorite riffs and change them or mash them up
Yes . The Formula
Thrash metal riffs always sound so fresh, dynamic and alive, pure energy. 🔥🔥🔥
I love trash metal
🚮🤘🏽
Dumpster diver by dio is trash metal classic

The "modern" Kreator style started in 2001 when Sami arrived in the band and they recorded Violent Revolution.
Awesome video! 🤘
That drumbeat is ... Big Cat, Little Cat, Big Cat, Little Cat, Big Cat, Little Cat, Big Cat, Little Cat....

You're halfway there. I grew up with Thrash. I've always seen it as Punk music that's heavier and melodic.

Those were some cool riffs, man. Especially towards the end. I could feel my arm burning up just watching those down picked lines.
This is incredible dude thank you so much 🤘
Oh PS - What do you use for your drum beats?
Good tips, thank you. 👍
Great video! Thanks man.
I'm new in thrash. Exodus is one of my favorite. For the modern reference, It would be an Evile, Warbringer, Havok and Crisix
Give Overkill a listen too
Gama bomb and Municipal Waste 😎🤘🔥🖤☠️💯🎸
Nicely done
Awesome!
my pick keeps getting caught after upstrocks when changing string wtf
Use tighter picks! And make sure you pick with the very tip
Uhhhhhh yeah🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Kreator ~ Betrayer
Destruction ~ Curse the Gods
Sodom ~ Nuclear Winter
Give these a try if you're new to Thrash MeTaL \m/
Heavy af and fast
Nuclear Winter is a banger 🤘🤘
That tone sounds super close to lamb of god
I already have the berry amp how do i get your new preset?
Hey! There will be an update soon that adds my presets. You should get this update via the mail. :)
Show me how to write proper brutal death metal mate pls.
Another good YT channel for death and thrash learning is Dunn. Check him out. He puts up the tabs on screen and walks you through the patterns.
6:23 Kreator aways did that weird stuff
True, it´s fucking sick
there is a particular scale to create thrash metal riffs? or interval? (english is not my first language)
Not really, but everything sounds better in a minor key :D
Please make a video on technique patterns for metal dummies like me.
You mean like writing riffs in different patterns?
Wodos
Best band

Raccoons LOVE trash metal!!
What would u say are the top tunings for guitar for this genre?
Ty
E standard, D standard, C standard, Dropped D, Dropped C are the ones i use mostly, but really any tuning works if you write the right riffs :)
@@DjentBeardthank u..another question..trem picking is exactly the same as alternate picking right?
Tuning ?
D standard!
Did my comment get deleted?

Trash metal the best genre if jk it's thrash not trash but if there was a trash metal genre then Nickelback would fit right in!
The beard with painted fingernails is an odd marriage
It erks me how you say Trash not THRASH . Maybe you have a lisp , and if so I apologize . Great guitar work though brother !
I´m just not a native English speaker, my Flemish accent takes over sometimes :)
@@DjentBeard You are good brother !!! I feel like a dick now ! I had a few drinks in me last night . Keep thrashing !! Nothing but love bro !
@@Brando-Lee3725 Don´t worry brother, all good!!
