Looking forward to seeing Siwa. Went there in 2011 and it’s a really bizarre place. We then spent four days driving across the desert to get back to Cairo, camping out in the desert. One of the best trips I’ve ever done.
Yeah the last (and first time) I was in Siwa was 3 years ago when I first arrived to Egypt, took the bus, that's one long ride! 🤣 Beautiful, unique Siwa. Looking forward to returning and exploring on my own, the freedom of having a motorcycle! 🎉 Sounds like you had a great time though. I will definitely be visiting the Great Sand Sea again (but with keep, of course. My motorcycle would never survive there 😅)

I was here a few years ago and fell in love with the Corniche and the spectacular views right along the seafront. It's good to see you settled in. You have stayed in this hostel before, so you know where everything is, and what to expect. As you say, you won't be spending too much time indoors because you want to get out and explore the city! I am looking forward to it so much. Thanks for bringing us along with you!! 😀W

Your so Brave on MotorBike in Cairo, thanks lm new Follower loved the GEM review l did the prelaunch, which was amazing... Planning a 2026 for my 3rd Trip, want to drive myself around so will watch for tips... Awesome stuff.
Great first video. El Alamein is site of a very important battle in WWII involving many nations n has, I beleive, very special memorials to honour the fallen.
Nice camera work ,great driving skills especially in Alexandria were the traffic is crazy ,if you ever stay in the Hilton for a night ,residents have to get a mini bus to the beach which is 5 mins walk across the street and mini bus back to hotel ,but we tried walking and it was like a race track. There is some really nice street food and a nice evening atmosphere,we are enjoying your adventures.
Heheheh. I think traffic in Cairo is worse, but it feels more cramped in Alex because of the narrow streets (and those damn tram tracks! 😆). It's a beautiful city though! I love cruising around here and exploring. That's funny about the mini bus at the Hilton 🤣 It's how many people feel about Egypt's streets in general though, I know. I once met a foreign girl visiting Cairo who wanted an Uber to take her across the street. Welcome to Egyptian traffic baby! 😆 Thanks Remotaurog 🙏
Ok so I’m riding pillion again, hanging on in there behind. Really enjoying the trip - this is exciting! I remember going to Alexandria - Got a taxi from the railway station and the driver started heading for El Alamein because he saw we were English and thought we would be interested (famous battle, I think we won. My uncle was in the army there at the time - said it was bad. I would be interested to see it).
It sounds like an amazing adventure you've embarked on with your trip to Siwa! By the way, the hostel you stayed at in Alexandria is one of the best in the area, thanks to its prime location in Minshaya, right in the same building as Borsa Cafe. Make sure to say hello to the staff, Omar and Shady, if he's still there!
You said you would have lived in Alexandria just for the sea. And you're right but the water and the beaches at Marsa Matrouh for me (if, God willing that is still the case) is phenomenal!! And good morning and safe travels pioneer.
So I've heard! I've seen photos and it's beautiful! I don't doubt the sea is even more beautiful in Marsa Matruh. But just because of the size of the city, I chose Cairo. I love Cairo so much. Alexandria is big and also has the sea (and awesome vibes). But for the sea itslf, probably Marsa Matruh wins. Time will tell 😎

first of all enjoy your time i love ur videos and road advice from egyptian biker inside city roads stay on the far left lane the right lane is a nightmare on the fast roads stay at the edge of the right lane cause its safer for you and clean not like the city and stay safe ❤❤
Okay...but I've been living in Cairo for 3 years, and the right lane on the city streets is almost always for the motorcycles (easiest way to get through), and I have noticed people going fast everywhere, doesn't really matter which lane. On the faster roads (highways, Ring Road, etc.), the left lane is faster, which is why I almost always travel on the right. But it depends, obviously if I am planning to travel straight but there are many turn offs, it is better to be in the middle lane. Like I mentioned in the video, I have traveled all over the country, from Cairo to Abu Simbel, etc. But I appreciate your suggestions ❤❤

This will be fun to follow, stay safe and have a nice journey! El Alamein is famous for a big battle there in World War II, where the english won over Rommels tanks (Dester rats), if ou can find anything about that?
Yeah there's some museum out there, apparently (I think?). Not sure if I will stop by there though, it's more of a pit stop and to drive around and film.
@@Gventures - Yes, Gisselle, there's a large and famous War Grave Cemetery and War Memorial at El Alamein, along with an interesting museum in commemoration of the 1942 Battle of El Alamein between the forces of Germany and the British Eighth Army which included troops from the British Empire. This battle, won by the Allies, was regarded as a turning point in World War II. Visiting the War Grave Cemetery is a hugely moving experience. W
@@mtm4a I honestly don't think I'll do it though....I plan to just drive around the city a little. Lol well then you won't like where I am staying next, it's even more expensive. Please, I am not camping outside or sleeping in the street, let me stay where I want
Can't rent a motorcycle, as far as I am aware. Plenty of people have asked and I have searched for them, with no results. Car is possible to rent, but I've never tried, so who knows what they ask for....
Another new adventure ,, 😂,, I wish you all the best ,, Please drive defensively ,, As I felt that you subjected your bike to dangerous situation more than once while overtaking other vehicles. So ,, be careful . I know that Prince Charles ( Now King Charles ) and his wife spent a vacation in Siwa in a very expensive Hotel made of salts ,, Please shed a light about this matter while you will be there , Take care.,, Please 🤓
Ahaha, thank you mam. I don't know if I will visit this expensive hotel, as there is a lot to see in Siwa that interests me more than where the Prince/King Charles stayed...but if I happen to come across it, maybe I will film it 😅 And don't worry, I am careful driving, as I've been driving in Egypt (mostly in Cairo, but of course across the country in other areas as well) for almost 3 years now. But I will try to be even more careful 🙏

@@mtm4a I honestly don't think I'll do it though....I plan to just drive around the city a little. It's more of a pit stop to show the new city being built because people have asked for it many times on the channel. The museum just doesn't interest me much...or Alamein in general 😅 But anyways I've scheduled a stop for it. We'll see what happens
@GVentures there is a war memorial for Alamein in Heliopolis
@@Gventures Ok for now. but maybe another some day... ;) Here is a song from our swedish hEuros-techno hero "E-Type" (Eurodance) but a tribute to this egyptian story of yours.. 😃 th-cam.com/video/Y3GzH5V5tOI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=1J1T_QB_0xGUuWBx
Don't miss the chance to visit the Greco-Roman Museum , you will love it
For sure..
Ahaha...I know, there is so much to see....I will see what I can fit in...
You learned how to ride in Egypt???? You are very brave
It was terrifying in the beginning 😂 Even the sounds of traffic through my apartment window gave me anxiety when I thought about going to drive out there when I was first learning ahaha. I'm good now though. Trial by fire baby! 😆
Ahleen Elbahr ….👍😂
Fantastic🎉😅
You know you’re in Alex from the yellow black curb 😉

Thank you Ashraf! I've actually been to Siwa once before, but a long time ago when I first arrived to Egypt 3 years ago. And it was a very brief visit. I'm excited to go back and explore the beautiful oasis with my motorcycle! 🎉
Good luck in your trip 👍
Have coffee on me please if you still in Alex
Shukran gidden Mahmoud!!! You know that's a few coffees 😅 I will enjoy them all 🙏❤️🙏❤️

Nice video! Do you mind sharing your helmet setup? Are you running a microphones inside your helmet?
Thanks! I actually just made a video about that! Here it is:

@ that awesome! I’ll check it out! Thanks for sharing!
Oh Gigi I wish that I’m in Alex now but as I told you I’ll be there at Christmas time but I hope that have great time there and don’t forget to eat liver form elfalah his very near to your place like 5-10 mins away
Just try one sandwich and thank me later 😊
I'm sorry but I have way too many requests for many things, and far too many suggestions from people already. I don't have enough time or room in my stomach to try it all 😅
@ I’m just telling you cuz first his so close to you and second his the most oldest shop selling Alexandrian liver ( Kepda eskandarani )in Egypt
But it’s okay Gigi I hope for you nice and safe trip 😊😊
@@izuma5360 Thank you for the suggestion. Maybe if I have time on my return journey I can stop by, but I'm not sure. I appreciate the suggestions though, I make notes of things so I can try in the future if not this trip 🙏❤
@@izuma5360 By the way can you send me the link to the location? Because I am not finding it on google maps

Have nice day and hope to see it in your next video cuz this one the most famous restaurant in Alex doing Alexandrian liver name of the restaurant in Arabic ( kepdit elfalah)
Pedestrians look scarier than the traffic
Lol feels that way too
رائع جدا
هل يوجد تصريح معين لتلك الرحلات ؟
Nope! Just hop on the bike and go. Only for Sinai do you need a special permit
What do you know about the conecction Cairo-Siwa by plane? I hear something about Marsa Matruh is the best option or they are making a new airport
That airport in Siwa has been under construction for 20 years, I found out. The nearest airport is in or near Marsa Matruh
We want daily video please Gigi
Ahaha, I can't, sorry. It's a lot of work to be driving, filming, editing, and then uploading every single day. Impossible for me to do
❤❤
❤😊❤
I guess it is expensive my dear friend...10$....with 6$ is ok I guess....
Lol well then you won't like where I am staying next, it's even more expensive. Please, I am not camping outside or sleeping in the street, let me stay where I want
Watch Gabe did ya..
Lol honey this trip has been planned for months and months.
I wonder if they ask for an international driving license when you rent a car or a motorcycle there?
Can't rent a motorcycle, as far as I am aware. Plenty of people have asked and I have searched for them, with no results. Car is possible to rent, but I've never tried, so who knows what they ask for....
@@Gventures Oh I see...
I like you very much
Another new adventure ,, 😂,,
I wish you all the best ,, Please drive defensively ,,
As I felt that you subjected your bike to dangerous situation more than once while overtaking other vehicles. So ,, be careful .
I know that Prince Charles ( Now King Charles ) and his wife spent a vacation in Siwa in a very expensive Hotel made of salts ,,
Please shed a light about this matter while you will be there ,
Take care.,, Please 🤓
Ahaha, thank you mam. I don't know if I will visit this expensive hotel, as there is a lot to see in Siwa that interests me more than where the Prince/King Charles stayed...but if I happen to come across it, maybe I will film it 😅 And don't worry, I am careful driving, as I've been driving in Egypt (mostly in Cairo, but of course across the country in other areas as well) for almost 3 years now. But I will try to be even more careful 🙏
@@Gventures
Please Google the name of the lodge to have some idea about why it's very expensive .
(Adrère Amellal .. The world’s unique and most attractive eco-lodge)
.Beware about expected change in weather in the coming few days , Rain and storms are expected , Check the weather forecast before you decide to travel from one place to other .
the hostel is a rip off, you could have found a private room for a smilar price, i think there was a cheap one called royal crown or something.
It's not the cheapest place on earth, but I like hostels for their social aspect. It's also definitely not the most expensive place to stay. I chose to stay here because of it's location and again, to meet people.
what city you most prefer to live for long term in Egypt?
Cairo, I literally SAY that in this video!
Hi Gigi are you still in Alexandria? Lets meet up if you still here
Sorry man, short on time...
@Gventures Cool enjoy to max!
I’m thinking to buy a motorcycle can you tell me about yours and maintenance for it ? … pls
Not really, I don't know much about motorcycles...research where to find one, and watch videos about mechanics. I just go to the mechanic, I don't know much at all
i wouldnt hang my phone and my 360 camera in crowded cairo though lol
Never had any problems. Only in Fayoum once! 😂
@@Gventures damn 😂usually its safe but careful from the 1% pickpocket snatchers ( 1% is 1 Mill so yeah, big risk ) 😂😂
