    Usually when there's a "hump" between your legs, as on the PCX, it's for a fuel tank, giving you much more underseat storage. Can't understand why they didn't either put a flat floor, or fuel tank and have a much bigger storage space.

      Because the liquid cooled engines are more mid-engined than rear.

    How good is this kind of scooter when it comes to getting parts and accessories? Where are the Sym dealerships?

    Ive been considering this bike to commute to work, but the 2000 mile service interval was a big shock, so I contacted MOTOGB who import it. They said ignore the 2000 miles , they say 3000miles for warranty. Anyone had this bike yet through bad weather? How's the finish on the bike lasting?

      Just ordered one today oil change every 3k miles if you do it yourself then you gonna lost your warranty, they charge £40 quid for every each of them

    Hi there. I bought one of those Jet X 125, in Portugal. It´s a fantastic mini scooter. I don´t like the style of Nmax or PCX.

    Quite nice, but it needs to undercut the Honda PCX (and possibly the Nmax) by £350 - £500 to be a valid alternative, as the PCX has far better fuel consumption, lower weight, better under-seat storage, better mirrors, has ABS on the front, stop-start and traction control, and roughly goes the same speed. Why buy this when the Honda delivers much more for the same price? Even if it was £2700, it is still competing with for example the Honda SH Mode which is arguably a better scooter and higher quality. For £200 only more there is the premium Piaggio Medley which has twice the storage, ABS all round and has 14.7 hp. It doesn't make financial sense to buy this with all the competition unless SYM lowers the price.

    • @lordracula2461
      @lordracula2461 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's roughly £300 less than the PCX. There is a website in the UK which does a fair bit of Sym OEM parts too however it's a hit or a miss depending which bike & what item you need, finding used parts can be difficult too. I own a 12 year old Sym of which only a couple dozen are still on the road in Britain. You're guaranteed to find spares used and new for a Honda though just because of numbers regardless of age or model
      The Sym Fiddle 125 is the equivalent of the SH125 from what I can tell and that is a grand less. Far better value there i'd say

    • @Rogueonepigeon
      @Rogueonepigeon 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes but both bikes are slower in top speed than this and the Jet14 LC, the only other difference really is the look, 12.5hp to 15hp is not a big difference, ABS etc again it is just a different name for a similar thing, in the real world you will not notice big changes

      The only thing that comes close to the PCX is the UK price! Spitfire pt the Portuguese reviewer rated it quite highly but then in it has abs and costs the equivalent of £2800.
      It is also hamstrung by underseat storage 6 monthly service intervals, skinny tyres (left behind by honda 4 yrs ago). On the strepthru issue flat floor scooters mostly come with no feet forward options. So it needs that, if thinks it can compete with the PCX & N MAX
