I would love for Mark to talk about his brief stint on Doctor Who. He only appeared in 2 episodes but they were terrific! Happened to also be the first appearance of the Silence. His character was cool as hell and very memorable.
I know Freddie Prinze Jr. was pretty critical of Kiefer, but he was only on one season, while people who were on for much longer like Carlos Bernard and Roger Cross had nothing but nice things to say about Kiefer.
Actors who worked with Kiefer long term always had great things to say about him. All the best actors who worked with him also had great things to say. I do wonder if it was a more a clash of personalities that meant some people said bad things
@@madmike987655Think it was more to do with professional jealousy!! I read an interview with the actor who played Edgar that Freddie’s was under the impression he was a potential replacement for Sutherland if he left the show, and when that didn’t materialise he personally blamed him!! And tbh his comments were petty and childish and the only specific criticism he could muster was that Kiefer was small and had to stand on a box!!! Absolutely absurd!!🤷🏻♀️
You should have Matt Ryan on your podcast -- discussing the history behind his role as John Constantine as well as his thoughts on the new Justice League Dark Movie/Series that's in development, which will feature a new version of John Constantine is a great discussion that will be extremely enticing for viewers that are specifically tailored to your podcast
Kiefer Sutherland and his dad screwed with a lot of people in Alberta, soooo they are not very popular here or so I heard. On the set of Forsaken, I got the impression they tried to not pay the crew.
The beauty for Mark Shepard is that he"s talking about old school broadcast tv. Now, you can come out with an amazing streaming show and become A list overnight. The drawback is that the competition is fierce and plentiful, so instead of a pool of 30 shows, it’s a pool of 300 shows. And unlike broadcast, you can spend 3 or 4 months filming a tv show, then come back a year later maybe more. I’m thinking Stranger Things for example.
I heard Kiefer is there for other actors. Meaning acting off screen instead of a replacement. He loves to party but he's really sweet and knows how to do his job.
Mr. Rossenbaum is you IMDb profile right? It says you were born in 1972 which would mean you are turning 50 this year. Nothing wrong with it just thought you were around my age.
How many times does a crew member stand around swearing at the millionaire actor for being an unprofessional asshole? If they bite their tongue, you can too. Actors pretending like the rest of the crew are just there to annoy them and don't have their own work to do (for a lot less money, I might add).
Freddie’s criticism was childish and pathetic, and completely focused on personal attacks on Kiefers lack of height etc!! Totally petty and irrelevant stuff!! Apparently he believed he should have been given a bigger role in future seasons and resented Kiefer for not recommending him…that’s according to other 24 co stars!! In fact if u listen to 99% of those who worked with Sutherland they testify to his immense professionalism and how seriously he took his job!! Even if partying the night before, he apparently never missed a day of work and never showed up late or under the influence!! I call absolute bullshit on anything Freddie Prince said and frankly he just ended up showing himself up!!🤷🏻♀️
Here’s the thing with that, not everybody has the same experience with a person that others do. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not defending Kiefer, nor crucifying him. I don’t particularly care for him. I didn’t watch 24. Probably haven’t watched Kiefer in anything since A Time To Kill. I do however love Freddie Prinze, Jr.
@@kellidinit3725Freddie looked unprofessional and childish attacking Kiefer for being small and standing on a box!! He never said anything specific in terms of criticism of Kiefers ‘unprofessional’ behaviour!! It was all completely without context and both petty and mean spirited!! I think if there was an issue it was to do with a personality clash or professional jealousy/rivalry rather than any fundamental issues with Sutherlands conduct!!🤷🏻♀️
Killing one person does not make someone a murderer. Then all soldiers that have killed enemy soldiers are murderers & people who have killd someone in self defense to save their own lives are also murderers. What kind of stupid reasoning is that man?
I spent an entire day watching him work on the final season of 24, Live Another Day and he was incredibly professional and very hard working. I think he's just a very passionate guy, and maybe could get angry at times if something isn't going right, but I have a hard time believing the whiny story that Freddie Prince Jr. gave. Freddie being petty in his recanting of events and making fun of Kiefer's height, also gave more reason for me to disbelieve his story.
I mean, Freddie Prinze Jr. is pretty much the only person who I have heard him call unprofessional. I think there might have been something with Shoreh Aghdashloo too though, but I don't remember what that was.
@@movieman82us apparently the two of them resented Kiefer as they personally blamed him for not fighting their corner with the other producers and increasing their roles and time on the show!! His dad played the older version of the character in one of those episodes.
He does talk about it on the full video.
@@juantanamera7798 How about Leverage and White Collar?

Mark Shepard is a fantastic underrated actor!!!
He's got the coolest voice
Honestly they should give Mark a show where he plays his "Blunt Lawyer"; I'd watch the heck out of that. Loved him in Doom Patrol!
I miss him on Leverage. He always made me smile.

Prinze Jr is a well known cuck. Kiefer probably looked at him, and he cried.

I would love to have him talk about Edward Kenway from Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag.
Plot Twist. We restart Firefly with Mark Sheppard's character being king of his little hill.

Yes. It's correct. He's said many times in recent interviews that he's turning 50.
@@BT-ch9gfThanks for the confirmation always thought he was around the same age as Tom Welling who is a year older than me.

Freddy Prince Jr. Said that he was horrible and very mean to him on the set of 24
