    In this tutorial, we provide an overview of the equivalent frame model for pushover analysis using PRO_SAM. You will learn the basic commands for modeling and understand how to apply this method for effective seismic analysis. This video is designed to equip you with the foundational skills needed to perform pushover analysis, a crucial technique in assessing the seismic performance of structures.
    Promoted by Confindustria Ceramica Raggruppamento Laterizi and developed by Prof. Magenes and by Eng. Manzini and Morandi, PRO_SAM perform multimodal analysis, linear static and non linear static (pushover) through the equivalent frame method. It design reinforce concrete, unreinforced masonry, reinforce masonry or mixed buildings.
    SAM II solver has a consolidated literature behind it, there are a good number of reference and applications in Italian and international technical literature.
    PRO_SAM integrates perfectly in PRO_SAP allowing to manage many materials at the same time, use all the check modules available even foundations and local failure mechanisms. It also has automatic generation of plate-shell elements models for design of foundations or for linear analysis.
