Over 11,000 cards overall with only 226 in the set is INSANE. Makes me want to only be f2p or just buy packs for meta decks if needed. But right now I'm just saving hourglasses for the next set so I can open as many packs as I can. Im f2p so far with 210/226 cards and I have pack points I could use but not going to yet till the new set releases.

I agree with the 'self control' part but this game needs paying customers to keep it going just like any other business. Spend some money to support this game. I think this is a good game and they deserve some of our money.

Remember don't gamble. Use your 2 packs a day and just live life. The game is barebones rn don't do this. The 2 pinsers and alt art ex machamp you're going to get isn't worth the money.
The average player isn’t meant to complete the entire set. They’re meant to complete the 226/226 Pokemon set. Art rates are built for the whales to find and collect them all, they have no pay to win advantage as they are only different looking with the same stats. That’s why when you check on the cards tab, the default only shows the average person ?/226 for a goal to attempt to collect them. I’ve only gotten the free pass and one extra pass which is like $10 and I’m like a couple cards away from getting all 226. Very achievable for people who buy the gold monthly card. Even then Trading comes out in January for New Years so it will make the game even more f2p friendly and easier.

To be fair most things have a casino type underline to them. Game companies develop games to cover cost to get more to develop. For example the many studios that have recently closed. Then you have stuff like the gatchya stuff of toys in cubes or blind packs etc. It's just what your willing to put up with and or how you deal with addiction.

The look in his eyes is quite scary. I can tell he has a gambling sickness he does not blink a eye at at a crown card and the games been out for a month or so and hes prob dropped so much on this free to play game. Its ment to open a pack or 2 a day build a deck and battle.
