Rolls Royce Wraith - The Debonair Gentleman's GT

- When you get given the fastest and most powerful Rolls Royce they make for the weekend you need to raise your game. So for this film I pulled out all the stops.
My first 2 day shoot and the first time I've shot with a drone, which was awesome fun. A huge thank you to Martin, Pete, Gary and James for making that happen.
Also, thanks to James and Robert at Rolls Royce. I hope I did your beautiful car justice. I hope you enjoy this film. I'm very proud of it to be honest !

You look stunning Pertrol Ped and you explain the features very well.
Low button on stalk changes gearing ratio to hold gear for longer hence a type of sport mode. 0-60 would then be sub 5 seconds. Great video. I now own one so was my dream. Looked at the ghost but couldn't justify the new one even though its amazing, instead went for a second hand wraith. Blue with silver bonnet etc. Hardly a second choice and first world problems really but Ped is right they are fab and floaty. The only thing that comes close in ride is mercs magic carpet ride.

I have a deep enough pocket to offer myself this RR,the only problem is that pocket had a big hole,and it's always empty😁😆😅
people think wraith is too narrow in the back but in reality when I sat in it, it is plenty of space back there. Considering my height I'm 5'10' and had so much leg room, I think its quite comfy back there!

WOW what an amazingly produced video Peter, the best and most professional you have done so far i think. A truly beautiful car, no argument from me there and in the words of the guy in "Johnny English" film, "goes like the wind only quieter" , very apt i think you will agree. Love the drone shots especially, i am sure they took a while to set up. Great video. BRAVO!!!!
Thank Rob. When we got back from the shoot and went through the footage we were chuffed with the drone shots. This film was my longest edit yet but i am pleased with the end result. I love the Jonny English quote !
There were 3 guys flying the drone ! One flying the drone, one controlling the camera and one spotting for things like trees and wires ! It followed the car for over 1km !

It can be very frustrating when you do what you consider your best work. Happens to me all the time! But hats off to you for keeping a consistent posting schedule. That's bound to pay off.

The Wraith has a button marked "LOW", that makes the gear changes more sporty. Or "sporty"...
OK, so this is never going to be the car for me, but very interesting in a morbid curiosity kind of way. That said, night vision is indeed rather cool and those nose cameras would be very useful on my Seven, but a roof like the interior of a 777...really? My goodness though, what a fantastic video. Getting better every time PP.

Just two questions Peter...What make / model are the cameras that you use and the area that you drive around ; is it East / West Sussex ? whatever it looks very pretty. I have only just found your channel but...hey l am hooked on it BIG TIME !!
Great you have found me and are liking my videos. This was one of my early films and I really threw everything at it. Shame it never really got great views.
In-car cameras are Sony Actioncams. Great mics and good quality video. The review was filmed just north of Chichester on the roads around the Goodwood Estate.
What color is the exterior and the interior,?

Neither do I and this video is my longest ever shoot and edit and the video I am most proud of and it's not even hit 1000 views. TH-cam is a strange thing sometimes. I thought this film would fly !
Petrol Ped I know that feeling . It's all about what people are looking for at that time. Getting the chance to review a new version of a very popular car or something in the press but it takes along time to get a test drive arranged. Very different to my content as you just turn up at an event and try and tell a story of the weekend and hope a team will push the content through there social media.
This is a hugely impressive and beautifully made review. Thanks for posting. Might you review the new Bentley Continental GT and in the process compare it with the Wraith?
Thanks Michael, this was quite early into my TH-cam journey and I really threw everything at the review. A shame it never got the views I thought it should but I am pleased you enjoyed it. I'd love to drive the Continental GT at some point :-)

Fantastic, have tried contacting rolls Royce to do a video on the factory and not driving but not having much luck at the minute although it was a couple of months back. I seem to be doing more serious videos so change of direction. They seem to get a responsible number of likes but just not a lot of views and even less subs. You are doing so well, would love to do a colaberation video

MY only comment, going too fast on country roads and up that hill, like boys with their toys.
The hill is a national speed limit road and I never went about 60 mph !

Oddly enough, the new Bentley seems better looking from any direction. The Bentley interior is better. This just seems a bit dated. It will be a good car. But not a desirable car.

@@PetrolPed I see thanks, then things have moved on quite a bit. I liked the Rolls Royce review you did about the second hand one around 10k miles and 100k .At the end of the day its the outdated tech that kills it for me. That too is yesterdays tech. The modern processors in newer cars makes things instant on switch on and switch over in programs. Plus DAB radio. So without the very latest tech it would feel like yesterdays car so soon. I need someone to bin last years Bentley with all the options and take a 50k hit.
Since it is all about driving, just bloody well drive the thing already. Actually, don't bother. I'm clicking something else. Pretty suit, tho.

I live in London, l see lots of Rolls Royce's but never driven by a white man .This car only appeals to Arabs, Pakistanis and lndains. Unfortunately bcause of this association, this car will always be considered to be the height of vulgarity and bad taste.
Regardless of its drivers’ ethnicity or skin color, this car is vulgar and in bad taste.
