in celebrity cases it’s a slippery slope because you’ll never know who’s telling the truth 100% due to the justice system we have, and the status of the the defendant. especially in these abuse/SA cases. think about it these people usually hire the best of the best lawyers against whatever the prosecutors (typically women) can afford, which usually isn’t nearly as good. they use social media to sway the public opinion cause most people don’t read full articles anyway, and they make the prosecutors life a living hell by inadvertently sending their fanbases to send death threats and think pieces every which way, etc and then after years of public scrutiny and being in the red financially, you get that offer of X amount of dollars from the defendant to throw the case and say you lied…and a lot of people take the money to make it all stop. my point is, you truly never know in these high profile cases unless there’s damning evidence.
