Quinn is right about that: a marriage should be about more than just surviving. And nobody believes this eternal "destiny" gibberish anyway. They never manage to stay together as they never fully trust each other. But they are a good match because they are both very selfish and disloyal to each other.

@@miamiller7932 I haven't forgotten her evil deeds and she always has a plan, but hey, when I think about Brooke's constant sly grin, her selfishness and her ruthlessness, I almost prefer some of Quinn's traits. In any case, she is a worthy opponent for Brooke.
I think this is all of us by now...never in a million years realistically would anyone want what Ridge and Brooke have...except for persons who believe they truly have no other option and still they may just choose to be alone
Bridge aren't "goals" at all...they are what you should never want for your marriage/ relationship

But there it is, the fan base, who has a justification for every one of Brooke's actions and who thinks that Bridge is truly "fate" and that Ridge's only love has always been and will be Brooke. The fact that one cannot speak of love between the two is ignored. The fact that both of them always only talk about everything they have "been through" is not an indication of a good relationship. Other qualities should be desirable.
@@feuerwehrluetzen that which you have described is "struggle love" - romantizing constant turmoil within any relationship/ marriage whereas "keeping" your partner is seen as the grand prize..."hardships" such as "repetitive infidelity, mistrust,and abuse of any kind"- you take and take but because you " come back to each other ", its seen as " true love"

Looking back to when Ridge and Brooke were locking eyes onto to one another, I'm guessing one of them were on the green screen to make it appear that they were close enough.
