Nct Dream had a graduating system where members who turned 20 would “graduate” from the group. Mark (the one you liked in the first two vids) turned 20 and graduated, so he’s not in the Boom MV. This left the group as a 6 membered group. Haechan, who’s a member of both Nct Dream and Nct 127, was absent from most of the group shots in the Boom MV (which is why most shots had 5 people and some had 6 people) because Nct 127 was having a US Tour, which Haechan was participating in. Also Haechan might have been injured during this time which meant he couldn’t dance...I’m not really sure tho. Last year tho, 4 members who were born in 2000 were supposed to graduate since they would be turning 20, but fans begged the CEO of SM Entertainment to keep Nct Dream as a fixed unit (this was before the Ridin MV was released). Ok so yeah you’re kinda right about the “fire dude” in the first two videos. His name is Mark Lee (a legendary rapper who’s basically in every NCT unit except WayV). He kinda had a leader role in NCT Dream even though they don’t have an official leader. The reason he “left” is because NCT Dream’s concept used to be that they only have teenage members, so when the members become adults they graduate. That’s what Mark did, but very recently it was decided that NCT Dream will be a fixed unit and Mark will return! Hopefully he’ll become the official leader of the group. And fyi, all the members except the youngest one (Jisung) are now considered adults.
He didn't leave NCT Dream he graduated becuase NCT Dream is a unit for teenagers and when they turn 20 they graduate. But SM already made Dream fixed unit so Mark is coming back on their next comeback. OT7❤

although your explanation is correct there is no telling when mark (or hyuck) will actually have a comeback with the dreamies again... SM made NCT dream into a rotational unit like NCT U meaning that if mark and haechan are busy with other promotions (127 or superm for mark) nct dream will simply promote as ot5 or even less as sm has said the dreamies will be joining new units. I believe sm made this decision so the dreamies don't have to wait for markhyuck to be free in order to have a comeback, it's not ideal but at least they'll be in the basement less? 😭 Although the group is fundamentally ot7, I think it'll take a while to actually see them all reunited 😔

If you check the release dates, the Boom MV was filmed around the time when NCT127 was doing promotions in the US for Superhuman... which explains why Haechan isn't in all the scenes. Mark "graduated" from Dream in 2019… which is funny because there are indications that they're ditching the graduation system, and may be bringing back Mark at some point.

I wish you would’ve watched some of their earlier videos you would’ve been SHOCKED at how much they changed!! NCT dream debuted really young so their concepts at first were always super fun and cute but all the videos you watched today were kind of their style after they matured!! Mark happens to be in almost all the NCT sub-units if not all. He's also now in a group called SUPERM. For this particular video he wasn't on it because he graduated I believe that's what they explained. If im not wrong, NCT DREAM is for the younger members and the graduated ones are in other sub-units. Someone who knows more can definitely explain it better lol.

You should know the whole Nct members. Dream, 127 and WayV. These guys have INSANE backgrounds. Chenle alone is a child prodigy, even holds a record in another country. Other members include a could-be professional soccer player, theater actor, traditional chinese dancer, actors, dj, etc. They're just so amazing. Exo alone makes me amazed at how diversed they are. They've established their names in other aspects other than being a kpop idol. But these guys are amazing even before they became idols.
In NCTdream there are 2 members/7 who are also in NCT127 so in ‘Boom’ MV there wasn’t Mark and Haechan but Haechan sing and have a few scene with the other members. (And Mark wasn’t there in Ridin)
They are apart of the company, Sm Town. This company has LEGENDS. They have really good vocals, visuals, and rappers. The groups that are in it are Red Velvet, NCT Dream, EXO, Girls Generation, NCT U, Super Junior, NCT 127, Shinee, f(x), +more. The company has had a lot of history too, sad and happy. He kinda had a leader role in NCT Dream even though they don’t have an official leader. The reason he “left” is because NCT Dream’s concept used to be that they only have teenage members, so when the members become adults they graduate. That’s what Mark did, but very recently it was decided that NCT Dream will be a fixed unit and Mark will return! Hopefully he’ll become the official leader of the group. And fyi, all the members except the youngest one (Jisung) are now considered adults.

SM made NCT dream into a rotational unit like NCT U meaning that if mark and haechan are busy with other promotions (127 or superm for mark) nct dream will simply promote as ot5 or even less as sm has said the dreamies will be joining new units.
I believe sm made this decision so the dreamies don't have to wait for markhyuck to be free in order to have a comeback, it's not ideal but at least they'll be in the basement less? 😭

There was a graduating system, so whenever a member turned 20 they graduated from the group so that's why there was only 6 in Boom and Ridin'. The reason there was only 5 in some of Boom was because Haechan is in NCT127, and he was busy with NCT 127 comeback and tour. So Mark turned 20 after We Go Up, so he wasn't in any other comebacks after(Boom and Ridin'). Most of the NCT Dream are born in the 2000s making 4 of the 6 remaining members graduate this year leaving only 2. Fans have been wanting a fixed unit for a very long time since these boys grew up together and the company finally listened so Mark will come back and there will be 7 members from now on(no more graduation system).

If you check the release dates, the Boom MV was filmed around the time when NCT127 was doing promotions in the US for Superhuman... which explains why Haechan isn't in all the scenes.

At first the rule with Dream was that if you turn 20, so an adult, you graduate from Nct Dream. That’s why Mark aka the guy you really liked in We Go Up and Go was not in the other 2 mv’s.

For this particular video he wasn't on it because he graduated I believe that's what they explained. Other members include a could-be professional soccer player, theater actor, traditional chinese dancer, actors, dj, etc. They're just so amazing. Exo alone makes me amazed at how diversed they are. They've established their names in other aspects other than being a kpop idol. But these guys are amazing even before they became idols.
