this system is completely blowing my expectations. i feel really excited to learn from eric and you and all the wisdom (and anyone else working with/for schlappi for that matter)
Nice work and great end to the year video. If I wanted to utilize one of the 3 body voices as a fm synth and drums/perc for the other two, is that possible or hard to do given the interconnectedness of the modulation between the osc? Im just starting out and learning my 3 body and using the overall transpose and have not yet had luck getting individual unique sounds from each osc yet. Maybe this is a matter of flipping the switches per osc in a certain way that I dont know yet. Thanks
Well you can get less complex drum sound by using two VCOs for it and keep one for the FM sound but you might still need a fourth VCO to modulate it to get clean results that are not dependent on what's happening to your perc sound. Here i'm using just one output but all three VCO are "speaking" to each other.
@@SCHLAPPIENGINEERING Ah, thanks. You said that in the beginning and I forgot you were using one out. I also realize now after some trial and error that you really have to turn the index and phase all the way down to take the cross mod normalization away if clean is the goal with 3 voices, but like you said, youll need a modulation source if using each voice as a sound source.
