Hi Joel. I'm in QLD and there's no mention of dummy activities at all in our Jacaranda text book, the topic is covered in the Cambridge text book though. A teacher told me dummy activites aren't on the QLD spec for genral maths. It seems like Cambridge didn't bother to leave them out when publishing the QLD book. Can you clarify? It's very confusing!

Hey mate. I live in WA but you should check you course outline (which has all the topics you should know for the exam) and check with your teacher. If it’s not in the course outline then you don’t need to learn about it. Hope that helped
