Long long ago at the first Slam City Jam in Vancouver. Wade Speyer showed up and legend has no one has since skated a contest that fast. Before the internet we used word of mouth. 3 days after SCJ word of Wade’s destruction reaching inland to Calgary Alberta. I was in a smoke fills greasy spoon when my friend Paulo walked in sat down and said “Wade Speyer destroyed Vancouver.”
