In our experience we've found these are best suited to the installation but we're always looking at other methods too. what sealant did you use around the locks?
You can use silicone sealant or anti rust paint
Could you possibly tell me the name of the tool he used to cut the metal ?
It is a small reciprocating air saw, sometimes called a needle saw or bodywork saw. small diameter multi tools or die grinders can also be used.
Great job and you should be clean the cutting area after you cut the lock hole.
We had to trim some of the smaller steps out due to video length - we did clean the areas we cut to remove the swarf

Shocking, that drill bit is messy, hole saw and nibbler is much better and neater
