      Repeat this and mean it from the bottom of your heart:
      Heavenly Father, thank You for sending Your son on the cross to die for me and take the punishment that should’ve been on me. Thank You for loving me and creating me. I repent of my sins and I confess to You that I am a sinner. Please forgive me and wash me clean in the blood of Jesus. I accept Your Son, Jesus Christ, as my Lord and my Savior. Thank you for saving me Lord! In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen!!

    It was refined to art and really the person who brought it to the NBA was Manu Ginobili. The other person who brought the TEAR DROP move to the NBA was Tony Parker. Can you imagine watching those 2 perform alongside Tim Duncan for 2 decades. And a lot of people said the Spurs were boring. They re-invented the game. Now, every player in the NBA using both moves. Amazing.

    La supuesta eurostep de la que hablan, es un movimiento muy común, en todos los chicos que juegan en Argentina, es darse maña, abrirse camino, sin que en te quiten la pelota !!! Manu no aprendió eso en Europa ...

    All I know is that this would have been called travelling back in the day. You are taking two full steps after gathering the dribble. That's what the rules say now, but there was a time where, if you lifted that last foot, you travelled. That second step established your pivot and you can't jump from it.

    • @inoma1423
      @inoma1423 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      No

    • @rivershelf991
      @rivershelf991 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Its not always a travel. Pay attention to the "not always." Taking two steps after dribbling is totally legal in all levels of basketball. You can drive in, stop dribbling and go straight into your two steps when you euro, in which case you will never get called for a travel. However, some people try to cover more ground by using a "gather step." While dribbling, they step forward as they gather the ball to sell the direction their going in, and by this point, the logic is they have only now gathered the ball, and they are allowed to take two additional steps. The gather step can be the difference between a heavily contested layup or a wide open layup, as it can literally give you an extra 3-4 feet of seperation. That being said, its a two edged sword, while it could be very beneficial for you, you're much more likely to be called for a travel. The commenter states that the euro step is an illegal move, but this is not necessarily the case. The euro step, is fundamentally the same as a normal two step layup, but on your second step you change direction, thats literally it. I think the commenter was more confused with the gather step that has become more utilized in modern times, which I definitely agree should be a travel as it makes the game borderline unfair in a time where handchecking is banned and the offense is given a ton of leverage.

    This should be called, "The Baylor step" since Elgin used it, along with every other finish, in the 60's. He invented so many things and reinvented himself as a player when he lost his jump due to knee injuries.

    • @Rimpianto
      @Rimpianto ปีที่แล้ว

      @@enochjohnson3437 The difference should lay in two changes of direction vs one. Baylor would do a side step, which is a side step, what is called a Euro step is a fake going on one side and then a step on the other.

    I love defending against people who love euro stepping. The key is to not over commit to their strong side but yet making it as though you are all while staying on the balls of your feet and keeping a low center of gravity. Anticipating their second step is the next key, cuz they will change direction, and since you’ve anticipated this, there’s no where from them to go other than the direction they’ve euro stepped towards and that’s when you’ve baited them into euro stepping into your trap.
