I just love your channel! We live in southern California. I have trepidation with most dentists because, in my opinion, they just want to line their pockets. Who can I trust really? I just had a retreatment of a root canal with a skilled endodontist. The root canal I had was from 1994 for tooth #3.
My dentist who told me that I had the infection on tooth #3 also said that I have cracks in my molars (tooth 19 and tooth 30). Maybe yes, maybe no. All I know is that sometimes I have tooth sensitivity to cold on tooth #30. No sensitivity for tooth #19. The dentist wanted to put crowns on these teeth "just in case the tooth cracks in half". The dentist has a CEREC machine. I am just a proponent of keeping my natural tissue. From what I have read dentistry is subjective and for you to confirm that is really honest. I am going to take the wait and see approach. I have really bad dental anxiety and I paid for IV sedation for the re-treatment of the root canal.

My husband has pain on his ear for a few years. In the last 2 years he was freezing altough it was 35-40 degrees Celsius . He went to the a few dentist regularly and not one was able to tell him he has a big cavity under his old crown. But they find it right away in Moldova and removed his tooth and went for implant.

I’ve heard of people going there for dental work. Do you save a lot with quality dentist?

My dentist fucked up my teeth before the age of 15. Old guy near retirement, did not give a fuck and he broke of one of my front teeth for no reason. Also filled many teeth with amalgams that literally fell out often in a few weeks. Got a new dentist at age 15 and she was livid of what was done. root canal done in the front tooth with a crown on it. She had to refill all my teeth as it was a mess. The crown is still there and no issue after 50 years. Spend 20 grand on cosmetic dentistry here in the USA 5 years ago ( 2 bridges) and looks like poor sealing of the bridging and thus now need to be redone. The price for that is through the roof. Greed is the main reason especially of those dentist that do things that they should not touch. By the way, the dentist that did my bridges here, sold his practice and retired. Contacted him but does give a flying fuck. Had 2 consults so far . Charging 2K for a crown and over 2K for a root canal. WTF. Flying back to my home country, the netherlands for 30-40% of the price. Not because of the strong dollar but because prices are regulated as to make things affordable. By the way most dental stuff, including all-on-4 paid for 80% of the cost. The land of the free (prices)..... not in the dental or healthcare system here. Greed rules. At least Dr Choi knows his stuff and delivers quality work. Would see him if money was not issue,

Hi! I’m interested in learning more about root canal teeth whitening and bone loss. Can external or internal whitening really cause the start of irreversible bone loss resorption)?
I have a first premolar with root canal, no crown and large filling. I’d like to whiten my teeth before getting a crown. Is it really a bad idea? What about with an at home teeth whitening kit? Or going to the dentist?

Who can afford an implant. The cost of one is absurd.
