  • We invite you on a journey through time, to the heart of the fabulous history of the saxophone ✨
From its invention by Adolphe Sax to its manufacture today in the Henri SELMER Paris workshops, the Brussels Musical Instruments Museum (MIM) offers you an exceptional video testimony, in which we are happy to have collaborated.
The MIM's collections include a large set of instruments made by members of the Sax family, including the oldest surviving saxophone in the world.

I’m not even a sax player. I’m just fascinated by the history behind instruments, regardless of what it is. 😊

Thank you. Great to see something of the detail and care that goes into Selmer saxophones. They also make amazing clarinets as well. God bless you all. Bill. Uk 🎷🎷🎷

This is why I love TH-cam. I saw a saxophone and thought, “ I wonder who had the thought and wherewithal to make this” and instead of looking in my 1981 version of encyclopedias that were sold to my parents I could come here. Cheers, TH-cam.
