Phenomenal insight to a world class company of hand built components. Sound, Aesthetics, Quality and Power all wrapped up into one. Thanks for the series.
Thank you for the fantastic series on the behind the scenes at McIntosh. Sometimes as a consumer the purchase is focused on listenting and specifications but learning more about this historic and unique company provides pride in ownership. The most surprising piece I gleaned from this episode is the miniscule number (50-100 of any given sku) completed per month. McIntosh is closer to a custom manufacturer than a mass producer. Thank you Gramophone for the investment in this awesome series!
Thank you for the great series , A few years ago I've visited McIntosh and bought small accessories , Today I'm with 6 big McIntosh Audio units and keep continue ..
I have 4 listening rooms in my home I remember upon first hearing my MC452 and Sophia 3 speakers all Wireworld cables and Water XLR interconnects C2600 Pre MCT450 I was underwhelmed ... I have a Peachtree 220SE old school with some Bowers and Wilkins Cm6 S2 and that was impressive .. My other 2 setups are more of Home studio setups. PC yamaha HS8 ... Dont overspend its not worth it other than it looks impressive when Guests come over .Also for those on a limited budget get into Headphones and a Marantz HD dac ... Thats impressive sound all .DSF files

Ear and eye candy.

I still have Mc equipment from 1977. All of my equipment is McIntosh. They last forever.
Awesome series, I love the fact they manufacture everything in the USA. My next amp will definitely be a McIntosh.
Great place to work.
Agreed on the trademarking of a color. It’s an incredibly hard process to trademark most anything let alone a single shade of a color.
That was great!!!!
Awesome job !!!
Ear and eye candy facility. I am saving my money to get one soon.
