I remember watching/hearing this song for the first time on TH-cam 2009 since my curiosity led me here after songs like Honestly(acoustic) and Something to say. This guitar solo changed my perception of how solos should be written---creative, flashy, melodic, and expressive----all while being technical as well. This particular live performance is what I prefer over the original. It is so raw and stripped down rock n roll. And that solo is giving me mental images of online MMORPGs.
Live playing should be accompanied by rhythm guitar and keyboard shows at 3:00 he got bid off the chart chord and also outro solo can't ran properly without backup guitar..
I think I like the "no guitar 2" version more. I really love the sound of it. By the way, this live version is what I grew up listening to so I'm very biased 😂
